[05/07/20]   Today is National Day of Prayer. Pray without ceasing!

Lately we sure do have to wait a lot, right? Well, take a look at what the Bible says we should be doing as we wait:

The Author and Finisher

Thinking about my Savior By Pamela Rose Williams “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2 There's a whole lot of things I could say about today's verse, b...

Sometimes you get a question. It is good to be ready to answer it. Like this one:

Something to Consider About Religion

Something from Dr. Mike to get you thinking By Dr. Michael Williams Some people say they do not believe in religion. However, no matter who you talk to, everyone holds certain beliefs that are a basis of how they live their lives. If they believe that poor people should be helped, they are more apt to donate to a charity that helps the poor.....

Happy Earth Day. Don't forget to worship the LORD today, He is the Creator and this Earth belongs to Him!

Cooking and Baking Ingredients Substitutions

Here is a little help if you are running low on ingredients. By Pamela Rose Williams Often times I get to cooking and find that I have run out of an ingredient. Well, rather than scratch the whole project, I will refer to my Cooking Ingredient Substitution List and have found that it is next to impossible to tell that something was changed. Take a look at wha...

Our Pastor has been bringing us YouTube Morning Chats for the past couple weeks. Today our morning chat with Pastor James we are encouraged to make the most of Monday. Specifically, Read John 13 and think on these things.

In history this is what was happening on Thursday, the day before Jesus went to the cross. He washed their feet ... even the one that would betray Him and the one that would deny Him! And then He encouraged them the "Love one another".

There is nothing here that suggests we love only the ones that are lovely. I encourage you today to make a special effort to love the UNlovely. Can you do that? #HolyWeek #HosannaInTheHighest #NoGreaterLove Here is a link to today's morning chat

Sacrifice of Self

Thinking about meditation? By Dr. Michael L. Williams Psalm 119:15-16 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. A popular activity in many areas of the world is Yoga. Yoga is a type of worship practiced by Hindus and some others that is....

[01/16/20]   My daytime work lately has given me the opportunity to see amazing things that have benefited so many. However, my perspective on the heavens and the earth is like that of the early astronauts that quoted Scripture when they witnessed amazing things: God’s perspective. Dr Mike.

Deuteronomy 4:32-39 KJV
[32] For ask now of the days that are past, which were before thee, since the day that God created man upon the earth, and ask from the one side of heaven unto the other, whether there hath been any such thing as this great thing is, or hath been heard like it? [33] Did ever people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and live? [34] Or hath God assayed to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by temptations, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? [35] Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him. [36] Out of heaven he made thee to hear his voice, that he might instruct thee: and upon earth he shewed thee his great fire; and thou heardest his words out of the midst of the fire. [37] And because he loved thy fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought thee out in his sight with his mighty power out of Egypt; [38] To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day. [39] Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.

Dr. Mike has a challenge for 2020. Are you in?

How Much More Have We?

We don't have Jesus on earth today but He left us something to remember Him by. Hallelujah! I wonder what it must have been like when Jesus, in the flesh, told His closest friends that He was going to die. He had been speaking these things to his disciples …
