Rain or shine we will still go on. Have fun events for the kids and lots of blueberry treats and lots of venders. The 6th Annual Blueberry Festival will take place at Watsontown United Methodist Church (1319 8th Street Drive) on Saturday July 8, 2017.
The festival is open to all ages. Vendors have crafts and food items in the social hall, blueberry-inspired breakfast and lunch are available in the north Sunday School wing, and vendors and a kid zone are situated in the side yard. This year we are pleased to announce that first responders from the Warrior Run Fire Company and the Watsontown Police Department will be on site in the morning to interact with the kids. All kid-related activities, including an improved obstacle course, are FREE! The festival is open from 9:00AM to 3:00PM. The Watsontown United Methodist Church is a smoke-free, weapon-free zone.
[08/26/18] My church family, there are two needs this week where your help would be appreciated. On Tuesday 8-28 we will be hosting a small funeral luncheon for the family of Jim Johnson. On Saturday 9-1 we will be hosting a small luncheon for United Way Volunteers who will be working to help the flood victums in Goosetown, here in Watsontown. We are in need of food donations and a few workers. If you can help please PM me. Thank you in Advance. Linda Smith
