The Fellowship Building is quiet and empty. The Men’s Brotherhood is not there mixing up pancake batter, beating eggs, or putting breakfast sausage on the grill. None of the members or quests are patiently waiting for the call ... it’s ready, get it while its hot! All is quite in the Seaton Fellowship Building.
The sanctuary is quiet ... no choir rehearsing, no soft background music, no sweet- smelling Easter lilies, and no Easter Sunday bulletins ready to be handed out. The parking lot remains empty!
Who would imagine that on Easter Sunday morning this would be the scene of Seaton Brethren Church and every other church in the country? Easter Sunday ... one of the most attended Sunday services! Yes, the building is empty and quiet, but Seaton Church says ...
Christ is Risen ...
He IS Risen Indeed!!
The Message of Easter
He has risen! He is not here. Mark 16:6 NIV The message of Easter is the central focus of Christianity.
The apostle Paul said, “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:17 NIV). It is as simple as that. If Christ is still dead, then He cannot be our Savior, for He was not the Son of God, and He died like all men. More than that, Heaven’s doors are still locked.
But if Christ is risen, as the Scriptures teach and as hundreds of witnesses testified (none of whom ever recanted that testimony despite threats and death for many of them), then we have the ultimate hope of humanity – eternal life with the God who made us and the certainty of life beyond the grave.
What does Easter mean to you? It should mean everything, because Christ has conquered death! And that makes all the difference-now and forever!
Hope For Today
The Cross shows there isn’t anything Christ would not do for us. The tomb tells us there isn’t any place He won’t go for us. The resurrection promises that there isn’t anything that can separate us from Him.
Who wants to play a game? Who remembers Ephesians? Comment to fill in the blank.
WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?
I AM ____________?
Carol Rowald's Palm Sunday Prayer.
Palm Sunday prayer...
I give you thanks, for you are good, and your mercy is endless.
Here I stand, at the start of this holy week,
This week in which your church remembers Jesus’ passion and death,
And I am distracted by many things.
Turn my eyes now to the One who comes in your name
The one who opens the gates of righteousness
The one who answers when we call.
I bless you, Lord, for shining your light upon me,
And for sending your son to us, in human frailty.
To walk the road we walk.
Open my eyes that I may see him coming,
And may praise him with a pure heart.
And may walk in the way of his suffering,
And share also in his resurrection.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.
In Jesus name, Amen.
Happy Palm Sunday to Everyone. I pray we will be able to meet soon. May you have a blessed Sunday and enjoy the Day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad.

I want to post some Bible verses. I dont type on here efficiently. So I wrote them out and took pictures. Enjoy! I hope one of them speaks to you.

Message from one of our very talented members, Jerry Haisler
We’re the little church that’s been out about 8 miles east of Temple next to the Seaton School and Community Center for over 100 years. We’re small but active as a congregation and in our community. We are affected just like all of you in our worship and other activities. We are not affected in our faithfulness. Our Pastor Denise Mikeska as well as church leaders and members are reaching out to each other for support and comfort. In the video I talk about praying, calling, emailing, just staying in touch and strong and finish with a song I hope will uplift.

Everyone - who donated to the Santa Pal program in order to help others have a joyous Christmas.
Everyone - who helped decorate the sanctuary and adopted the poinsettias
All Wednesday Night Activity leaders and helpers during the year. We pray that SBC is making a difference in the
lives of ALL who attend whether they are adults or children.
Pastor Denise – No one knows the countless hours she spends working to lead and plan for the future of SBC. She
spends many hours working at the church and at home for the Lord. Even though Mondays are her “day off,” so
many times she is visiting at the hospital or taking calls from someone in need.
Charles Amos – The leadership in the past years and for the upcoming 2020. He has spent many days and hours
with workers and repairmen getting projects completed.
Prayer Warriors - Seaton Brethren Church is a church that believes in Prayer. Thank you and please continue to
pray for our Church, our Pastor, our Community, and our Nation. There are many of our military fighting for our
freedoms and are separated from their families. Continue to pray for one another, our folks no longer able to meet
with us; those who have lost loved ones who we continue to miss, and for those who are facing illness and difficult

Let God Guide Your Future
By Kelli Mahoney
One thing the New Year does is make us think about our future. Most of the time, celebrating the New
Year at least makes us think about our plan for the next 365 days. However, we cannot forget whose
hand needs to be in our future plans. We may not always understand the plans God has for us, but these
New Year’s scripture verses remind us:
Proverbs 3:6 – In all ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight. (NIV)
Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (NIV)
Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be
discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. (NIV)
