Come and worship with us!
Tonight, Pastor Jack Hibbs, Calvary Chapel Chino Hills [CA], called on ALL churches in America to fully open by Sunday, October 25, as part of a Freedom Sunday event with the Family Research Council. Why don't we? [NOT with limited seating and congregating.] The science is clear- it is time to re-open! [Those who NEED to self isolate are encouraged to do so.]
I am looking for a roommate to rent a bedroom in my house. Rent is $600 a month and includes all utilities and internet. The room is a good size but there is the option of also renting an office for an additional $100 a month for someone who needs extra space or works from home. The home is 1,800 sq. feet, 4 bed, 2 bath single family in quiet Round Hill, VA. Current roommates are three Christian females ages 23, 30 and 37. The bathroom would be shared. There is a laundry room and the kitchen is fully stocked with cooking equipment since we like to cook but there is room for you to bring your own equipment as well. There is parking available in the driveway or on the street. Six-month lease with month-to-month after that. Available immediately. The room is unfurnished but I can provide a bed. Please e-mail me and I can provide additional pictures and information. Contact: [email protected]
Hey! It would be great if you all posted whether the outdoor evening service is canceled due to weather (on your website and here on Facebook). That would be much appreciated - thank you!
Please say the church will be open this Sunday!!!
I combined an Art idea from VisArts with Pastor Mike’s message that we’re listening to. Next step is to place them out in my community to hopefully inspire others and bring some joy and encouragement.
Friends, what an incredible opportunity to let the Lord's light shine bright in these darkest of times. We have set up a group to help those at increased Risk or disadvantage due to COVID19. We are just a dad and sons right now, delivering groceries, writing letters, and teaming with folks who know how to sew medical masks. We could use your help in spreading the word, sharing our page, and identifying folks that might need some help! Help us #SpreadLoveNotCOVID https://www.facebook.com/restonVa19

I visited RBC for the first time earlier today...what an incredible experience!! Looking forward to many more visits and hopefully getting a chance to meeting more members!
Blessing to everyone. The Island of Puerto Rico has not stop shacking (earthquake from 3 to 6.) at the Southwest for days and it's increasly and being felt at the Southeast, where I am located at this moment visiting. Requesting prayer that no one perish with out the Lord Jesus, peace in their heart and those in need can be supplied and care.
Hello, we are new to the area and someone told me about a moms connection group. How do I find more info on that? Thank you 🙏🏻

Reston Bible Church exists to know Christ and to make Him known through biblical preaching and teaching and authentic Christian community in Northern Virginia and around the world.

Mission: We exist to know Jesus Christ and to make Him known.

Operating as usual

Stay the Course: Hypocrisy, Part 3 - Are you projecting a life of self-righteousness to those around you? Those who live lives of hypocrisy carry a heavy weight. No wonder we're exhausted.

Stay the Course: Hypocrisy, Part 2 - Hypocrisy is when we purposefully project a life that is completely different than how we are actually living. This is not the same as being overtaken by sin. Anyone can be overtaken by any sin at any time.

Colossians, Part 5: Deceptive Philosophies | Reston Bible Church

Paul admonished the Colossians to stop letting deceptive philosophies infiltrate the church that are human-focused, not God-focused. The primary threat to the church today is the same threat that it was to the church in the first century. Truth is not found within us, but within God’s Word. http://rstbl.ch/3jQBZtE

Stay the Course: Hypocrisy, Part 1 - The church is full of hypocrites, but could it be that we have a false definition of what hypocrisy is? If the church doesn't have a clear understanding, we can't expect society to either.

Stay the Course: The Problem with Problems, Part 11 - Jesus makes it clear that the real source of human problems is the human heart. When the problem tries to solve the problem, that's a problem. We need a Savior.

Colossians, Part 4: Christ In You, The Hope of Glory | Reston Bible Church

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, then the indwelling presence of God in you is the down payment for the full measure of glory that you will receive when you get to your hope. http://rstbl.ch/3d5xcTN

Stay the Course: The Problem with Problems, Part 10 - Problems are no respecter of persons, families, cities or nations. They blanket the globe, keeping warm the next generation of problems.

Stay the Course: The Problem with Problems, Part 9 - Problems are fertile soil for blame-shifting. The nature of man is to never take full responsibility for the issues at hand while believing he can turn Earth into Heaven.

Stay the Course: The Problem with Problems, Part 8 - A problem can have a single source, but require multiple solutions. If we put our hope in something other than Christ, we will be forever disappointed.

Colossians, Part 3: Knowing the True Christ | Reston Bible Church

Why is it so important that we intimately know who Jesus is? Because the one whose power and glory and majesty is so far beyond what our minds can comprehend and grasp, He came for us, to reconcile us to God. We must never forget who He is and what He has done. http://rstbl.ch/3oMwzkn

Stay the Course: The Problem with Problems, Part 7 - Problems are often created by previous solutions. Our efforts to correct our problems apart from God just leads to more problems.

Stay the Course: The Problem with Problems, Part 6 - Problems always outnumber solutions, so pray to the Lord for grace every single day.

Stay the Course: The Problem with Problems, Part 5 - Problems are always out ahead of solutions. Set your expectations accordingly.
