It is the goal of the RBC Men's Ministry to equip God's men to be faithful; faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ, to their wives, to their families, to their brothers, and to the community. We desire to follow Paul's command in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 to "be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love."

FUEL is a gathering of men meeting weekly to grow and be the authentic men that God designed and Jesus Christ modeled. This manhood God created us to live cannot be done through our self-effort and we can’t go at it alone. Come experience true grace-filled community with other like-minded men and be encouraged by biblical truth and real stories of God at work in and around us. It’s the man you were made to be. Invite a neighbor and join us, because you were made to be more.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning @ Joe’s Cafe! May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

FUEL: TOMORROW MORNING – 0625H DEC 11TH!

Men – a pilot friend told me there’s nothing more wasted than runway behind you and altitude above you. You could say the same thing about our lives. Like the runway, you might run out of days before you realize and like flying too low, encounter unexpected obstacles that can be anywhere from interruptive to devastating, with little margin or time corrective action.

Truth is, most men plod through their lives, viewing obstacles as circumstantial and seeing themselves as victims or bystanders completely surprised what they “happened upon”.

Is it possible that each decision you make is consequential to your future, and that living intentionally determines your destination and the effectiveness of your life?

Join us at FUEL, 0625h tomorrow morning as we consider and process our 8th and final question – “What Do I Do Next?”.

The pressures of manhood can be enormous, and they're only intensified by the mixed messages you receive from culture. Sometimes it seems as though everyone wants something from you. Does being a real man mean having a perfect family, a corner office, a luxury car, and a massive home? Or, is there something more to life, a source of deeper satisfaction? The Bible has some surprising and counterintuitive things to say about being a man.

FUEL: TOMORROW MORNING – 0625H DEC 4th!

Men – why is it that so many of us believe that isolation = safety = freedom? Building a barrier for protection of the real me, driven by shame and guilt. But there’s a problem with that, actually several. Isolation not only makes us more vulnerable to attack by the lies of the enemy, it also is counter to the very freedom we think it offers in “protection”.

The Bible has a lot to say about fellowship and the truth is – transparency = freedom.
Are you tired of managing those facades; the masks we show others, the rooms in the home of our heart which door we keep locked?

Don’t let secrets steal your freedom and your future. Join us at FUEL, 0625h tomorrow morning as we consider and process our 7th question – “Who Can I Trust?“.

FUEL: TOMORROW MORNING – 0625H NOV 27TH!

Men – why is it that one of the most beautiful ideas of God, if not the most beautiful – Woman - is also one that stirs up sinful desires and a constant struggle in the hearts and minds of all men? Did God intend for us men to live this tension all of our days? What about other sinful desires of the flesh – Power, Anger, Greed, Small-Minded Pursuits, Uncontrolled and Uncontrollable Addictions…

Is trying hard to control or manage sin’s desires working for you? Is there even a way?

Instead of thinking “don’t do it”, say “help” by joining us at FUEL, 0625h tomorrow morning as we consider and process our 6th question – “What About Women? “.

FUEL: THIS TUES MORNING – 0625H NOV 13TH!

Men – ever consider how that decision you’re about to make will reverberate into the future? Legacies are not something we work on “one-day” in the future when we get older and make time. A man’s legacy is formed by the decisions we make and the actions we take or don’t take each day. No sooner could you harvest from a seed that wasn’t sown and nurtured in its proper time than we can build a meaningful legacy in the “final-hours” of our lives.

Because most men have a distorted or overly focused emphasis on a particular area of their life’s purpose, mostly work and careers, they tend to think of legacy in that way too. But a true legacy is not about your stuff or achievements, but about character and relationships. It’s really who people will remember you to be. If you reflected on your life thru today, what is it that people will remember you to be?

Join us at FUEL, 0625h tomorrow morning as we consider true legacy thru the lens of the “Big-Five”; Self, Marriage, Family, Work and God’s Church. You will leave a legacy – either one that is shaped on purpose and by design or one by default. Which will you choose?

FUEL: THIS TUES MORNING – 0625H NOV 6TH!

Men – ever ask yourself “if this is it”, “is there a greater purpose for my life?” If you haven’t asked that of yourself yet – you will. At some point in middle years, every guy runs into that wall. And if you’re not clear about how you define a full and meaningful life – you’re going to struggle. And you won’t be alone – those closest to you, your wife and family if you’re married will suffer too. So will the folks who work around you.

A man who is not settled on his greater purpose will try to fill his empty cup everywhere he goes and from everyone he relates to. And like a ship without a rudder, he can’t stay on course and keep his bearings.

If you believe that God created you on purpose for a purpose, then doesn’t it make sense, that to live a full and meaningful life would involve knowing that purpose and aligning your course in fulfillment of it?

Join us at FUEL, 0625h tomorrow morning as we consider and process our 4th question – “Why Am I Here?”

FUEL: TOMORROW MORNING – 0625H OCT 30TH!

Men – if you were presented with the question, “Who Am I”, how would you answer it? Not surprisingly, most men are not comfortable with who they are – in fact, most are discontent. And they just don’t wish their lives were different, they wish they were different - even wishing they were someone else. Some other man’s abilities, talents and gifts. Some other man’s achievements, job title and zip code.

Is it possible that you weren’t mass-produced by God to live a life that looked like every other man? What if God gave you specific gifts and talents because HE created you for a specific purpose? And if God created you on purpose for a purpose, how would you go about discovering what that is?

Join us at FUEL, 0625h tomorrow morning as we consider and process the 3rd question – “Who Am I?”
