[06/11/14] I"m Walking In This Thing: 1) I know God is for me. 2) In the Lord, I will praise His word. 3) I have put my trust in God. I am not afraid of what man can do to me. 4) O God, your vows are upon me, therefore, will I give praises to your name. 5) You have delivered my soul from death. Will you not keep my feet falling, that I may walk before you in the place where the light shines on the living? Psalm 56:9-13. I'M WALKING IN THIS THING! Hallelujah!
[05/21/14] The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever...Amen!
[05/09/14] Be a blessing to the Lord, today; and do something kind and good for someone. Hebrews 13:16, "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." (ESV)
[05/06/14] Psalm 86:11, "Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name." The Psalmist (David) is in one of those conflicted moments. He is torn by his struggle that has drawn his heart away from. How often are our hearts torn etween two divergent entities (good and evil, blessing and cursing, God and satan, etc.). Nevertheless, David does not lose perspective on where his help comes from: He calls on God, to "teach me your way", and vows,"I will walk in your truth"; but I need you, Lord, "to unite my heart to fear your name." He recognizes that the only thing that tears us away from God, are not the things and situations we are confronted with, but the condition of our hearts (our affections) that is drawn away and enticed by our secret desires, that ultimately come to the light, and show the unstableness of our (so called) allegiance to God. So then, like David, our cry should be; "Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications." (Psalm 86:6)
[04/30/14] Your battle's are so fierce, because their is a height and depth that God is trying to take you to; and the enemy of God is doing all he can to keep you from it. The devil is a liar! 1Pe.5:8, 1Jn.4:4, 1Th.4:9-12 (KJV)
[04/27/14] To the "elect pilgrims of God": the "sojourners in a foreign land"; today, I declare and decree, "grace unto you, and peace be multiplied" (1Peter 1:1-2). Amen.
[04/26/14] When I look up, I behold His glory. When I look down, I behold His glory. Right, left, front or back, I always see God's glory manifest in all of creation. When I look in the mirror, I see...? 1Corinthians 13:9-12. (KJV)
The lament of the oppressed: Psalm 55:4-8 4My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
5Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.
6And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
7Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.
8I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.
His resolve to trust God: Psalm 55:16-18, 22 16As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.
17Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
18He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
[04/23/14] Psalm 64:10, "The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory." (KJV) If you are a servant of the most high God, he lives in your heart. Therefore, you are upright in heart; so why don't you glory...right now. When you received Him, you made it known that you trusted Him, so be glady, glory, and rejoice! PTL!
[04/22/14] Reach out with a benevolent heart, uplifting words, and gifts of kindness; and you will reap a harvest of peace with your neighbor, joy with your Savior, and an abundance of Spiritual prosperity and blessing, unlike you have ever known! PTL!
[04/21/14] John 19:30, "...It is finished..." 1) It is complete--there is no more to be said, or done. The mission has been accomplished--the will of God has been done by the Son, and you and I have been released; from the penalty, the power, and the continued pull (very presence, pressure and potential pitfalls) of sin. (Jn.6:38,40) 2) It is a compilation--of power, teaching, commandments and promises; all individual pieces of the Gospel message, on the cross compiled into one message (with power through the blood of Jesus), commanding all believers to: "go, teach and make disciples" (in the name, power, teaching and commandment of Jesus). (Mt.28:18-20) 3) It is a compendium--the taking of a very large and intricate message, and whittling it down to a very small, easily presentable and simple message: "Jesus did it all, on the cross of Calvary, and He did it, just for you, and for me! All we need do is believe, and receive!" Glory to God! Thank you, Jesus! (Jn.1:9-12)
[03/31/14] Unselfish, habitual and sacrificial giving, releases and establishes the reciprocity process that God has promised, in Luke 6:38: "Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full--pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back." (NLT)
[03/19/14] God wants to bless you, so stop moving about so much! "Stand stlll, and see the salvation of the Lord". (Exodus 14:13)
[03/16/14] Psalm 84:9-12, "Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed. For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee." (KJV)
[03/12/14] I know that life can sometimes be difficult. However, one of the best ways to overcome difficult times is to remember how blessed we are: 1) I was loved and chosen by God, that I might live holy and without flaw, before the world was formed (Eph.1:4), 2) He sent His only Son to die, so that I might live forever (1Jn.4:9), 3) We are loved with a love that never ends, and a kindness that never fails (Jer.31:3), 4) He is rich in mercy towards us, because of the great love that He has for us (Eph.2:4), 5) We are "more than" conquers, in all things, because of the love He has for us (Rom.8:37), 6) Because He fit loved us, we now can love Him (1Jn.4:19), 7) And last, Herein is love, not that we loved God; but God loved us by sent His Son to be the payment for our sins (1Jn.4:10). Please note: I did not mention what w possess, or lack; where we live, nor, how we live; who (or what) we love, or do not love; whether we give, or do not give; our, speech, behavior, attitude, aspirations (or lack thereof); I simply stated that we are "blessed beyond measure"; all because of what God has already done, and is doing, and has promised to continue to do. So with that in mind, why don't you/we take a moment and just praise the Lord (like you've lost your mind), and tell Him how much you love Him, just because He chose to love us...PTL! Hallelujah! Bless His Holy Name! Now . Don't you feel better. If you stay focused on Him, and His love, you always will. Have a wonderful day!
[03/11/14] If you find yourself in one of those moments in life where things appear to be more difficult than you can handle, don't worry: 2 Corinthians 12:9 says, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness". Amen.
[03/03/14] Sunday Sermon: "The Hole in Our Christianity", Matthew 28:18-20, by Apostle Randolph S. Witcher, Overseer of R.U.M. Are we focused on the mission/message of Christ; or, are we focused on "churching". If it's anything other than the mission of Christ, we have a "hole" in our Christianity, and we are lacking; and cannot be made "whole", until we change our focus to the objectives of Christ! PTL!
[02/26/14] It's grace and mercy that pulled us out of the enemy's clutches. It's grace and mercy that keeps from the slippery slope of his schemes and lies. Thank you Lord, for it is grace and mercy that will ultimately usher us into the kingdom... :)
"Pruned By God"
John 15:1-2 (NIV) 15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful.
Do you feel like you are struggling everyday, being stretched to your limit? That's exactly how I feel at times. However, God is calling us to bear fruit. Jesus Christ is the vine that we spring out of. We are his branch, and each branch is supposed to demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-23. This fruit is godly, Christlike character. The word "prune" comes from kathairō , which can mean to cleanse from filthy and impurity. Character development only comes through suffering, there is no other way. So unless the issues in our lives come from bad decisions on our part, it is possible that God is preparing us to have an even greater impact on our circles of influence, for Christ's sake. GB!

[02/22/14] Four encouraging things David says in Psalm 145:18-21: 1) God is close to all who call upon Him (which means He hears you), 2) He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him, and will hear their cry and will save them (so relax and breathe easy, help is on the way), 3) He preserves all those that love Him (He is our keeper, so you can count on Him--just keep showering your love upon Him), 4) And, the one that I think is most important and relevant to hurting people: (v.21) "My mouth shall speak the praises of the Lord, and let all flesh bless His holy name forever and ever"! Now, why don't you breakout in some crazy praise, right now; and know that, "God hears you, He will help you, and He will keep you"! All He wants, is to hear you praise Him, for what He's already done; and to start looking for what He's getting ready to do! Glory to God! Hallelujah! :) "dancing..."!
The Cords of Friendship
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (NIV)
9 Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down one can help the other up. But pity anyone who fall and has no one to help them up
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
Nothing can match good company, friendships, and fellowship! As believers we must stand by each other, support and love one another. And we must also be willing to trust the Christ that we see displayed in our brothers and sisters....basically, we should be okay with getting chin-checked by other believers from time to time! PRAYER: Father, we worship you. Forgive us if we have ever fallen victim to the traps of spiritual isolation. As Paul told Timothy to guard carefully both his life and his doctrine, we pray that you would guard our friendships so the enemy does not sow seeds of discord and division between believers. In Jesus' name, amen!
~ Cameron C. Swanson, M.Div.
FORGIVENESS: Before we were Christians, it was natural for us to hold grudges and be unforgiving, because that was our very nature. (Ephesians 2:2-3) As believers though, we have been set free from our unforgiving past and it no longer has to lead us about:
“Let me say this, then, speaking for the Lord: Live no longer as the unsaved do, for they are blinded and confused. Their closed hearts are full of darkness: they are far away from the life of God because they have shut their minds against him, and they cannot understand his ways. They don’t care anymore about right and wrong and have given themselves over to impure ways. They stop at nothing, being driven by their evil minds and reckless lusts. But that isn’t the way Christ taught you. If you have really heard his voice and learned from him the truths concerning himself, then throw off your old evil nature; the old you that was a partner in your evil ways- rotten through and through, full of lust and shame.
Now your attitudes and thoughts must all be constantly changing for the better. Yes, you must be a new and different person, holy and good. Clothe yourself with this new nature. Stop lying to each other; tell the truth, for we are hurting ourselves. If you are angry, don’t sin by nursing your grudge. Don’t let the sun go down with you still angry- get over it quickly; for when you are angry you give a mighty foothold to the devil. If anyone is stealing, he must stop it and begin using those hands of his for honest work so he can give to others in need. Don’t use bad language. Say only what is good and helpful to those you are talking to, and what will give them a blessing. Don’t cause the Holy Spirit sorrow by the way you live. Remember, he is the one who marks you to be present on that day when salvation from sin will be complete.
Stop being mean, bad-tempered and angry. Quarreling with harsh words, and dislike of others should have no place in you. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, Just as God has forgiven you because you belong to Christ.” (Ephesians 4:17-32 LB)
“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.” Matthew 18:21-22 ~ Tom Roselius
[02/15/14] Psalm 32:10b, "...the LORD's unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him." (NIV)
[02/14/14] If your need is not being supplied, have you considered that maybe you're shopping in the wrong store? Just a thought..."But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
[02/14/14] May the Lord always be the focus of our desire: Psalm 73:25, "Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee." (KJV)
[02/13/14] If you look at your circumstances, through the eyes of faith, you will start rejoicing, right now; because either you, or your situation, is about to change! Hallelujah! (Rom.10:17, Heb. 11:1,6)
[02/10/14] In Mt.10:5-15, Jesus sent the Disciples out to "the lost sheep of Israel", and told them, "don't worry about a thing" [paraphrase], for "the workman is worthy of his hire". In other words, your (and my) Heavenly Father will provide for us, and most importantly, our zeal to do God's perfect will, will so deeply touch the hearts of those we minister to (serve) that they will be moved with compassion by the Holy Ghost, and will make provision for our every need as the Lord speaks to them and directs them! Glory to God! So...just go where God said go, and do what He said do, and the rest will take care of itself! PTL! :)
[02/06/14] When God speaks, don't hesitate, don't debate, and don't question! Go to His Word, and confirm His direction, then get up and move towards your blessing! Glory!
[02/06/14] If you want to have a nice day; do something nice for someone today. Their smile will fill you heart with unexpected (and infectious) joy! :)
[02/06/14] For every pain there is a reassuring word, for every heartache your sorrow has already been heard. For life's surprises that throw us for a loop, hold your head high and don't let your back stoop. The Lord is watching and knows just how you feel. Don't panic, nor runaway; go to your prayer closet, and there be still. He will speak to our spirit, and your soul will He lift. For the Lord is Our Keeper, and from His presence, He will not let us drift! Be encouraged my Sisters and Brothers! God has the situation under control! :)
[02/03/14] Sending out a big warm smile to everyone whose had snow today! The cold, grey, overcast skies won't last always, so :), and remember "The One" who loves you and shines in your heart everyday!
[02/02/14] The "righteous Word of God" keeps me from the subtly of the enemies schemes; so at midnight, I rise to give praise unto the Lord. Psalm 119:62, "At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws." (NIV)
In The Garden
I come to the garden alone,
While the dew is still on the roses,
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses.
He speaks, and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing.
And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
None other has ever known.
I’d stay in the garden with Him,
Though the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe
His voice to me is calling. ~ Charles A. Miles (1913)
[01/31/14] As Christ has loved me, it is with a like passion that I desire to love you. However, I have found that far to often, I miss the mark in my feeble attempts to express to others, "agape" love. The lesson that I am learning is, I need the "enabling power" of God's love and grace; in order to, love others as He has loved me; therefore, I must "seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto me" (Matthew 6:33). Please pray with me, that the Lord will empower us with His (agape) love. God bless you today, and forever. :)
