Hello New Life, I wanted to connect with you to see if you would be open to hosting a family friendly community wide comedy show in 2019. Laughter is universal and is a great way to break down barriers and connect with others and show the community that Christians enjoy life and love to laugh too! I am endorsed by 5 time grammy nominee comedian Chonda Pierce. I will also be touring in June with Comedian Jimmy Brogan, who has had well over a dozen appearance on the Tonight Show, and was Jay Leno's head writer on the show for 9 years. I will also be doing some dates with Mark Christopher Lawrence best know as Big Mike from the hit tv show "CHUCK". All that not to toot my own horn, but establish credibility with you. That I will bring you a high quality comedy experience. You are also welcome to click here on my comedy page and read the reviews I received in 2019! So far I have a 5 star rating!๐Ÿ˜‰I will be doing a tour through the West and my window of touring through Cali. is June 16-23. This will be the only time in 2019 that I will be in Cali. Is this something that you would be open to consider?Ihttps://www.facebook.com/paulmaycomedy/
WHAT IS HOLINESS IN SIMPLE EXPLANATION. Holiness is the nature and character of God manifested to us through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Holiness. Holiness, or Sanctification is the process of God's grace sanctifying (making holy) a person who was justified and regenerated (1 Cor. 6:11; Titus 3:5). Holiness or Sanctification is God's perfect will for all Christians (Rom.12:1-2; 1Thes.4:1-7). God ordained His people to bear fruit, and this includes maturity through sanctification. Holiness is BOTH consecration to God and separation from the world and all sins,it is always a command by God to man (Titus 2:11-12; 1 Peter 1:15-16; Matthew 5:48; 2Cor.5:17). Without Holiness, no man shall see the Lord (Mat.5:8; Heb.12:14; Rev. 22:10-12). God requires Holiness better than spiritual gifts, and is actually the basis of God's moving in the life of a person or church (Joshua 3:5; Matthew 7:21-23). Holiness is both partaking of God's divine nature through the Holy Ghost (2 Peter 1:4), and the actual decision of man to submit to God's control (Rom.12:1). Therefore, a Christian is expected to leave sin and worldliness in pursuit of God's holiness. Separation from sin, wickedness, and worldliness is both a principle of Holiness and a command to obey (2 Cor.6:14-18; James 4:4; 1 John 2:15-16). If a Christian is truly living in the principles of the Bible concerning Holiness, then he will practically obey the standards of God's Word that pertains to holy, righteous, and godly living which includes moral standards, standards of godly clothing and adornment, and prohibition of worldly lifestyles and fashion. Holiness affects all areas and aspects of our lives, including our thoughts, words, actions, dress, lifestyles, relationships, and our outlook in life. In short, Holiness is both inward transformation toward Christ-like character and outward transformation that is different from the ways of the world and unbelievers. That's Holiness.

Our choices really do matter and they have a direct impact on the story of our lives. Dreams That Point To God

Think about how much "dreams" are emphasized in our culture today. Every Christmas movie story has some "dream" that at first seems impossible to reach and then through a series of events comes to fruition. Why are we so enamored by dreams? What does God has to say about dreams? Could it be that God uses them for his purpose?

Let's find out together as we continue in part 2 of our series "Christmas Dreams" with Pastor Dale Swanson.

Christmas Dreams Part I

We are in the season of Advent, celebrating God's first coming to us in the birth of Jesus Christ and contending for his second Advent when he will restore all things that are broken. For the next 4 weeks our Advent series is titled "Christmas Dreams". We will be looking at the Dreams that came to us during the birth of Jesus.

Follow us in Part 1 as we look at the Christmas story through the eyes of Joseph and study the 4 dreams he had that we can read about in the book of Matthew.

Contending For Light

The Final Installment of our series "Content & Contending" a study in the book of Philippians. Paul continues to challenge us as a Church to be living representatives of God and bring the "Light" of Jesus to the World. Here Pastor Dale break down v. 12-20 of Chapter 2 of Philippians.

Brand New Series this Weekend!

You Don't Have To Fight Upstream

Have you seen those pictures or video clips of Salmon swimming upstream in Alaska? They are amazing! Have you ever felt like you were one of those salmon? Swimming against the current with all of your might? Exhausted and hoping that big grizzly bear wouldn't catch you on the journey?

I have a confession, I've been feeling like that salmon lately. Let's talk about it and see what God has to say about "fighting" the wrong battles and swimming in the wrong "stream". Let's get connected & hear God's together word this Sunday! Hope you can make it.

Do you know all the ways that Danny serves at New Life Church? ๐Ÿค”โ

โ
It goes without saying that Danny's *instrumental* to our church community (we hope you caught that pun ๐Ÿคช).
