I had an opportunity to visit with this congregation while visiting my mother in North Carolina. Pastor Jones gave a wonderful sermon and I attending two of their six Sunday School cases for Adults. they also had a youth Sunday school and Young Adults.

For a megachurch this one was almost like being at my home church here in Santa Barbara. During the service the Pastor welcomed visitors from all states and members of the congregation from that state were called down to make visitors feel at home. It was great that he set aside time to minister directly, even with 100's in attendance that day.

If you are ever in Charlotte, NC pay them a visit.

Honored to be the surprise MC this morning at the Greater Hope Baptist Church 50th Jubilee Breakfast Celebration! Thanks to all the congregation for the warm welcome AND for choosing to watch KEYT NewsChannel 3 for my weather reports every morning, I'm flattered!

Officer Mike McGrew of the Santa Barbara Police Department was the keynote speaker and such an inspiration!! Also hugs to all the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Barbara kids that were there and came up to me today :)

[02/17/16]   Our hearts and prayers go out to our brother Asael Cervantes and his family. Please pray for comfort and joy in the midst of great pain.

The lost of a loved one is a time of great difficulty and sadness. We have the love this family needs right now, Our Father's Love and Word.
