[01/18/13]   Christ now gives us courage and confidence, so that we can come to God by faith.

Ephesians 3:12

[01/17/13]   Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second most important command is this: ‘Love your neighbor the same as you love yourself.’

Mark 12:30-31

[01/16/13]   Respect the Lord and be humble. Then you will have wealth, honor, and true life.

Proverbs 22:4

[01/15/13]   To people belong the plans of the heart, but the answer of the tongue comes from the LORD. All the ways of people are pure in their eyes, but the LORD tests the motives. Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.

Proverbs 16:1-3

[01/14/13]   8 Lord God of all, powerful Lord, who is like You? All around You we see how faithful You are.
14 Your throne stands on what is right and fair. Loving-kindness and truth go before You.

Psalms 89:8,14

[01/11/13]   “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?

Jeremiah 32:27

[01/10/13]   16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

Romans 1:16-17

[01/09/13]   So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

[01/08/13]   I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.

Psalms 116:1-2

[01/07/13]   If you’ve gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made any difference in your life, if being in a community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care— then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand. Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself...

Philippians 2:1-4

[01/04/13]   When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, rock-solid guarantee—God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable. We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us.

Hebrew 6:18-20

[01/03/13]   But the time is coming—it has, in fact, come—when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship.

John 4:22-24

[01/02/13]   Be sure that no one pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to do what is good for each other and for all people.

1 Thessalonians 5:15

[01/01/13]   There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.

1 John 4:18-19
