[05/04/16]   Yo

I want you to meet my new friends Melissa and Brett. The other boneheads in the back are Jonathan Dupee and Virgil Sheppard. ;-)
Im bringing you in towards the end of the story, but we just gave them the Buick Regal you see in the pic. I've got to share with you their story.
About a year ago they lost everything. They managed to get a place here in the apts., but had no transportation.
So, I met this couple at an outreach we held at the apts. about 3 months ago. Hundreds came to the event. We had giveaways, food, etc. etc. After sharing at the event everyone was invited to attend a follow up support group which ended up being held on Mondays at 2. The first week Melissa and two other ladies came to the meeting. The next week only Melissa came.
I thought to myself....our preaching must be really bad. We had hundreds at the event and now we have only ONE. What a blow to the ego!!!However something began to happen. Each week Melissa seemed different. She was like a sponge, so hungry to grow and learn. Her hunger was like a breath of fresh air and as I processed what was happening I realized that although she was the only ONE; she was the ONE.
I was concerned about the masses and the crowds, but Jesus was concerned about the ONE. Which of you having 100 sheep and losing one, He (Jesus) would say, would not leave the 99 to find it. It dawned on me. I had been set up. Melissa was the that ONE! (Sorry for the excitement)
Now let me catch you up with the end of the story. She began to share how her husband, who couldn't come to the meeting because of work, had to walk home late at night.
He got off at 1 am and walked several miles until he would arrive home at 2:30 am. This guy was making a major sacrifice to provide for his family.
Bottom line- Ive learned a lot while in Sandy Park. For one; people need help so we need to help people. And we can't always assume that because someone is poor and in need that it is there fault, or that they've done something wrong or that they are lazy. Not everyone is looking for a hand out. Some people just need a hand up.
And to my ministry friends, let's not forget that while pursuing the multitudes that we don't overlook the ONE. Melissa is now well on her way. She is worth the investment. Although ONE person, I believe she will touch a 1000 in her lifetime. I was so honored today to stand with my brothers and present this car to her family. I want to honor Melissa and Brett today for there hard work and genuine faith.
There are many out there today like Melissa who have wondered far away. Many of them are right in front of us and they just needed someone to help them find their way back home.

[06/03/14]   Why I love Jesus-

He loved me first

16-17 It’s news I’m most proud to proclaim, this extraordinary Message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! (The Message) Romans 1:16

[05/18/14]   Jesus said, "Go and Preach", He didn't say anything about setting up an outreach or crusade; or even a church service, and these are not bad things! But He said go and preach! Find you a partner today and go and preach the Gospel yo a lost and dying world; Jesus Style!!!

We will be at River Spirit Casino this morning if you would like to join us!

[03/25/14]   The bend in the road
Is not the end of the road
Unless you refuse to take the turn.

[03/04/14]   Sometimes we are preoccupied with what WE can do FOR God
when God is more preoccupied with what HE can do IN us.

[02/28/14]   I shared Jesus with a young man named James today. Although a professing agnostic, he invited prayer for his daughter of whom he has not seen in a year.
I believe that God in His goodness is going to open the door for James to see his daughter; and win him by His love. Believe with me!

#urawitness

[02/18/14]   It's a beautiful day!

[02/18/14]   Missionary Woes-

Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
For you travel land and sea to win one person, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves. Matthew 23:15

Why would Jesus call a whole group of church people hypocrites for going on a mission trip?

1. They did it for show and to be seen by men.
2. They ignored those in there own backyard.

By all means go on a mission trip. It will change your life. But don't forget that we are called to be missionaries in our own back yard as well.
Have a great day!

[02/09/14]   Field Report-

Just met a girl named Tomey, (cool name)
She told me she was an athiest. Said she didn't believe in God. I could tell that she had had a really hard and bitter life. I asked her if I could share the gospel with her. She obliged.
I shared with her about our sinful nature and how the fall was the reason for all the pain and hurt in the world. And then, as I began to speak to her about Christ her bewilderment began to slowly turn to curiosity. I told her of a God who became a man and died the death we each deserved. I told her how much He loved her and how He demonstrated that love by going to the cross. I shared with her that through repentance and faith she could be forgiven and know Him.
I'm not sure if Tomey has Yet believed; but one thing I am sure of. I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is the POWER of God unto salvation to those who believe. Romans 1:16.

[02/08/14]   Being a Christian involves more than going to church on Sunday. It involves being a witness for Christ. For some the thought of sharing Christ with others provokes fear. I have good news! You don't have to be afraid.

When you see the joy and simplicity of leading someone to Christ your fear will fall away and your heart will over flow with joy.

If you desire to be a greater witness, or just want to learn how to lead someone to Christ, then come join us this Sunday.

Come-Watch-Learn

But be careful!!! Leading people to Christ is contagious. Don't be robbed of the greatest of all blessings and rewards, step out in faith and let God use you to fulfill His great commission on the earth!

Good night from Tulsa!

[01/29/14]   A Word to remember for all Gods sons and daughters.

This is a promise God made to David and His SEED. When you hear the word SEED in scripture it is referring to ALL who have been born again through Jesus Christ. Regardless of where we may find ourselves right now; God has promised His involvement in our lives throughout all generations.
I believe God is releasing the revelation and promise of this Word over our lives today. God is faithful!

My mercy will I keep for him for evermore,
and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
His SEED also will I make to endure for ever,
and his throne as the days of heaven.
If his children forsake my law,
and walk not in my judgments;
If they break my statutes,
and keep not my commandments;
Then will I visit their transgression with the rod,
and their iniquity with stripes. Nevertheless My loving kindness I will not utterly take from Him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail.
Psalm 89:28-33

[01/26/14]   Field Report-

Wow! What a day!
A young man named Keith Howard said he believed in God but didn't know much more than that. After hearing the gospel this morning he gladly received Jesus as his Lord!! It was powerful!!!

We should not assume that every American has heard the gospel; we should do something even better and share the gospel with them. More reports to come later. It was a great day today as many were touched by God.

[01/25/14]   Mercyrock will no longer be meeting at the Metalsbetter office in Sapulpa.
Instead we will be meeting at the Fryers house at 10:30 for coffee and fellowship. From there we will hit the streets. You are welcome to come join us on our mission; it's gonna be awesome!

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

[01/23/14]   This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief .

Although a better life is sure to follow those who come to Jesus; it's not the primary reason that we come. We come because we have a disease called sin and Jesus is the only one with the cure.

[01/22/14]   You were not born for your pleasure;
You were born for Gods purpose.......

[01/15/14]   A letter from an Atheist.............

If I firmly believed, as millions say they do, that the knowledge and practice of religion in this life influences destiny in another, then religion would mean to me everything.
I would cast away earthly enjoyments as dross, earthly cares as follies, and earthly thoughts and feelings as vanity. Religion would be my first waking thought and my last image before sleep sank me into unconsciousness. I should labor in its cause alone.
I would take thought for the morrow of eternity alone. I would esteem one soul gained for heaven worth a life of suffering.
Earthly consequences would never stay my hand, or seal my lips. Earth, it's joys and it's griefs, would occupy no moment of my thoughts. I would strive to look on eternity alone, and on the eternal souls around me, soon to be everlastingly happy or everlastingly miserable.
I would go forth to the world and preach to it in season and out of season, and my text would be, " What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul."

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." He who believe and is baptized will be saved, he who believes not shall be damned." Mark 16:15-16 Jesus

[01/12/14]   Show me your friends and I will show you your future..............,.. As we begin this new year, surround yourself with people who will love and challenge you; not those who will tolerate and excuse you.

[01/08/14]   Its a good day!

[01/08/14]   Are there many ways to God?

Good works?
Religions?
Sacrifice?

According to the bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ there is only one way to God, and that way is through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Why?
Because we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
All of us like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, everyone, to his own way; and because of this The Lord God has laid on Him (Jesus) the sin of us all. Isaiah 53:6
Jesus paid for our sin by shedding His blood on the cross. Are you having trouble believing this?
God will confirm this truth to you by signs and wonders. If you ask truly ask God, get ready because a miracle is coming your way.

If you would like to be forgiven of your sin and born into the kingdom of God the requirements are very simple.

1. Repent. ( Stop trusting in your own goodness to get there.)
2. Trust in Jesus Christ alone. God accepts us based on our faith in what Christ has done on our behalf. It's that simple! That's why it's called good news! God forgives us and accepts us when we put our faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is a finished work that can only be received by Faith!
I know its hard to receive a gift you know you don't deserve; but God loves you that much you see; that He would send forth His Son, born of a virgin without sin, to take the horrible penalty of sin and death. He took our sin upon Himself at the Cross.
He was forsaken, so that you and I could be accepted into the family of God.
This free gift of God (salvation)
must be received by faith because we didn't do anything to deserve it or earn it. Jesus did it all. He paid the price that was to costly for us to pay. That's why Its called amazing grace.

Won't you receive this amazing gift of eternal life today? What are you waiting on?
Ask Jesus to save you. From this day on put your faith in Him alone.
Leave your old life of selfishness behind and follow Jesus the rest of your days.

Get yourself a bible and find a church where the Christ-like life is lived out.

My prayer for you is that the power of almighty God would confirm the truth of this word to you with mighty signs, wonders and miracles. I pray that you would be born again and that your life would never be the same. :-)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish (eternally) but have everlasting life John 3:16

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved.
Romans 10:9-10

[01/07/14]   Whatever you say or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law of liberty. 13 There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you. James 2:13
What does it mean to show mercy?
Its when I give to someone who doesn't deserve it and cannot repay it; kinda like God did for me when He sent Jesus to die on the cross.

[01/02/14]   The very best that this world has to offer is literally nothing in comparison to that which God is storing up for those who love Him. His coming Kingdom will make the very best of this world look like rubble!

[12/24/13]   It was Christmas Day and I had lost my way.
I can remember the emptiness I felt as I left grandpas house with my only gift that year; a pair of tube socks for Christmas. That was twenty years ago.

Today as I write this post I am overwhelmed at the goodness of God and the family He has given to me. BUT, I can never forget, I will never forget the emptiness and isolation I felt on that Christmas day in 1992. Someone in need, needs you this holiday season. I don't know who they are or where they are but they are very near. Embrace them and show them the love of Christ. Remember the words of Jesus; that unto the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me. For I was hungry and you fed me, naked and you clothed me, sick and you visited me. To love them is to love Him!

Twenty years ago, I Pat Fryer was one of the brethren who had lost my way. Today I'm thankful for the tube socks I received that year. It has become part of my testimony. I am even more thankful for those who, like Christ reached down and helped to pick me up when I was down. It was His great love; and His love that came through others that won me and made me the man that I am today. A man that wants to be just like Jesus! Remember to show His love to those in need this Holiday season.

Merry Christmas!

[12/22/13]   Sunday morning service will be canceled due to the possibility of icy roads in the morning. God bless you all & stay safe.

[12/20/13]   There's still time to help bring Christmas to some Parkview Terrace friends. If you would like to help make the day of a single mom or young child between the ages of 2 & 5, then simply bring an unwrapped gift on Sunday morning or message us that you'd like to help out. Let's make their Christmas morning bright!

[12/15/13]   Your latter will be greater than your past!

[12/11/13]   She said, "I was on the verge of insanity"; I didn't know what to do. Out of desperation I prayed to God to send someone to me and Danny or to lead us somewhere for help. The next morning I woke up and looked out the window to see you guys standing there. I knew you were the answer to my prayers. Danny looked at me and said, "you have no idea what you guys have done." We were so hopeless. You guys saved us. We didn't save you Danny. I replied. Danny continued to share how his and Brandi's lives have been changed since the church came and how family members are seeing the change and wanting prayer for their lives to be change as well.

Reach.....,,,,, farther. You never know who may be touched by your life. You are called to live OUT your faith; beyond the status quo!

Today's conversation. Brought much encouragement.

[11/17/13]   For all Parkview residents needing transportation to our new meeting location, just meet at the basketball courts at 10am, Sundays for transportation to and from Sapulpa.

[11/17/13]   Today wraps up our 20th and final week on the courts at Parkview Terrace. I want to give a special thanks to those of you who served and a big thanks to the Parkview community for receiving us. It has truly been a life changing experience that will not be forgotten!

[11/16/13]   For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that whosoever should believe on Him would not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

[11/16/13]   When I look at the cross I see the penalty I deserve being placed upon Jesus who didn't deserve. The thought humbles me and makes me want to lay down my life for Him.
