The last time I was at Youth we talked about delivering the Christmas packages to our two adopted families this coming Saturday. Please help me get the word out to YOUTH and VOLUNTEERS to remind everyone to be here – AT THE CHURCH – at 10:00AM this Saturday, December 20th. If we have enough people I would like to divide into two groups – 1 for each family. We will load up the presents and the groceries and head out to visit these folks. The whole operation should not take too long and it will be great to bring a Merry Christmas to some deserving folks. Please plan to join us this Saturday!
[11/27/14] THANK YOU! to the dozens of volunteers who came to cook and pack meals this morning and all the great folks who spent their Thanksgiving morning delivering over 1200 meals to families throughout our community. Because of you and your dedication, 1200 people had a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner that they would not have had otherwise. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Particular thanks goes to our organizers and kitchen crew who put this all together every year. If I start naming names I will leave someone out - so, you know who you are - THANKS!!!!!!!

Sunday Pop Quiz…“Who do you say that I am?”
This Sunday we will engage Matthew 16:13-20 and ask ourselves the same question that Jesus asked his disciples. Who do you say that Jesus is? And, more importantly, what difference does your answer make to the way in which you live your life? Think about it this week and be ready to answer…There will be a quiz during Sunday’s message. It’s going to be fun as we work together to discover what God has to say to us this week. See you Sunday morning!

In case you missed the Awakening last night, the message has been posted to our channel here:
This video is the final part of our series "A Life that Looks Different"
The church exists to go out into the world carrying God's message, the gospel, the God story of healing and wholeness in word and deed. Where the head goes the body must follow. So where is Christ leading your church? Maybe we've spent long enough focused internally, on ourselves and our battles to protect the truth or to reclaim the church we once knew. Christ is in the world. Let's get riled up about the poor, the suffering, the dying. Christ is there, holding their hands, cradling their heads, waiting for us to show up. Can you see him? He's looking for us.
[06/11/14] Hope to see you tonight as we talk about faith and what it means to walk it out! Dinner starts at 6:30, you don't want to miss this! See you there!
