CBS creates opportunities for Jews, their loved ones, and friends to share authentic and meaningful religious and spiritual experiences. Our modern synagogue campus is teeming with life and activity, and our dynamic rabbi draws on his deep well of Jewish knowledge to communicate the great truths of Judaism as they relate to 21st century lives and concerns.
We offer traditional services as well as new and affecting alternatives. Importantly, CBS celebrates that no single approach to Judaism fits all. Personal choice is respected and the diversity of our community is nurtured. We also pride ourselves on being a safe and welcoming space for community members of all sexual orientations and gender expressions. For more than 300 households, Congregation Beth Sholom is home.
Mission: CBS creates opportunities for contemporary Jews, along with their loved ones and friends, to share authentic and meaningful religious and spiritual experiences. We also aim to build and sustain a community empowered to make a positive difference in the world.
