I just noticed that these pics were never posted to this page. They seem appropriate
65 years ago today Sister Danialina arrived at St Paul of the Shipwreck.
She has been a huge influence in all of our lives. She made us who we are today.
I spoke with her this morning and she spoke of so many of the Shipwreck families that are so important to her. She sends her love to you all and will always cherish her time at Shipwreck
We are all so fortunate to have had such an Awesome childhood.
So Today it is the 65th ANNIVERSARY of the first day Sister Danialina arrived at Shipwreck.

I spoke with her this morning, she gave me this information and wants to send Love to all the alumni families that made Shipwreck so great.

She mentioned so many families that are in her heart forever and wants all of you to know that the old days full of memories are precious to her.

Malta u lil hinn minnha

A film crew from Malta came to San Francisco about a year ago to interview several Maltese Americans that had grandparents, parents, and relatives that migrated from Malta and settled in the Bay View /Hunter's Point area. Bart Borg, Barbara Fenech, and Rose Aquilina were interviewed in this clip as it pertains to the Maltese immigrants and St. Paul of the Shipwreck Church and school. The majority of this program is in the Maltese language. The interviews are in English and start on the video timeline of 1:00 and continue to about 1:12.

Just one of the many reasons Shipwreck supports Alive & Free 💞

Alive & Free is…..a new doctor!

Alive & Free alum Diane Thomas is now Dr. Diane Thomas. With scholarship assistance from Alive & Free, Diane graduated from Xavier University in New Orleans, LA then attended medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She is a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgeon and recently opened up her new office in Merced, CA. I remember the first day she came to the Club…..and look at her now! Congratulations Dr. Thomas!! You are a great example of what our young people can achieve! We are so proud of you!

Lets us pray for Father Dan and Father Andrew. Let us also pray for all priests who have served Shipwreck and those far and wide who have visited us.

Friday, June 8, 2018, is the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests. Instituted by St. John Paul II in 2002, it is to be celebrated on the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus each year.

Please keep the priests from the Archdiocese of San Francisco in your prayers.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us!
