Introducing Volunteer Interim Nursery Director, Susan Mohun

Susan Mohun, a longtime parishioner at St. Mary's, has graciously agreed to be our Interim Nursery Director on a volunteer basis while we discern next steps toward nursery staffing. Susan brings a wealth of experience and a great love for children, and for St. Mary's. Her leadership will be a great blessing and we look forward to see how the Holy Spirit leads us in mutual discernment of the Nursery as a ministry of St. Mary's. Here is a little information about Susan:

Susan grew up in San Francisco. She attended Notre Dame des Victoires Grammar School, Convent High School and then Santa Clara University. She received a BFA at Mills College in Creative Writing and studied Montessori at The Maria Montessori School in San Francisco.

Over the last 20 years, Susan has taught extensively throughout Southern and Northern California. She has taught children from preschool through High School. Susan taught preschool at The Playgroup for many years and taught at Stuart Hall, Convent, Hamlin and Saint Vincent De Paul. Both Susan and Mark volunteered at St Mary’s nursery when their children were small.

Currently, Susan teaches as a long term substitute.

This Sunday: 9 a.m. Eucharist Rain or Shine

Because of the potential of rain on Sunday morning, we wanted to give you a heads up that our 9 a.m. Courtyard Eucharist might move indoors this Sunday. The service will remain the same, and all indoor worship guidelines will be followed, including the wearing of masks for the duration of the service. Should rain occur, the party for Jackie Schroeder will be held in the Parish Hall.
