Back to School!
As the craziness begins, here are a couple of suggestions from the folks at Engaged Marriage.
1. DO NOT GIVE UP YOUR COUPLE TIME. This is Rule #1 and the biggest temptation when faced with so many demands for your time. Hold onto 15 minutes a day of consistent quality time with your spouse no matter what. https://www.engagedmarriage.com/take-15-minutes-each-day-to-just-be-a-couple/
2. REFRESH YOUR SCHEDULE. This is such a major help for me and Bethany. I literally recreated my ideal daily and weekly schedule to fit with the new reality of our household during this season.
3. START YOUR DAY IN GRACE. I try really hard to start each day reading scripture and spending a little some quiet prayer. I also workout each morning, preferably before any kids are up and at it.
If you need help with any of this, but especially finding the time and keeping the time to refresh your marriage, be sure to check out our book 15-Minute Marriage Makeover.
It was created for busy couples who want to keep (or make) their marriage the #1 priority and source of joy even when life gets crazy!
