I know it's verboten to draw on yontif, in schul but you know I always do anyway. It helps me focus. Since we can't meet in person at the UU this year, here are some drawings I've done over the past few years. (Not meaning to imply they are good.)
Awaiting connection to Bat Mitzvah.
Hi everyone. I'd like to share an online event series I curate and host. Bridge ArtSpace Virtual Film Fest is a weekly series covering film and video projects with artist Q&A. Our featured artist this week is Charles H Anderson of Epicycle Media.

Tonight we will screen short films he produced using an iPhone 6+ app that shot video that mimicked an 8mm camera – including the clickety-clack of the projector. We will also discuss some mainstream efforts shot on iPhone, including "Daughter" produced by Apple. Join us at 8:00 pm on Friday April 17th. FREE. https://event.webinarjam.com/register/104/2z7rxi2n
Looking like I can come to the rally Monday. Who's coming?
"A letter to American Jews"
"Let's show them what we're made of"
Can some other families with kids RSVP for the May Travelling Shabbat? I'd like to go but can't unless other kids do!

Simchat Torah is now my favorite Jewish holiday.
Great seeing people yesterday at the picnic. Interesting conversations about high school education, bnai mitzvot, and painting conservatives with a broad brush. Looking forward to more perspectives and bat mitzvah tips.

Tisha B'Av - Saturday, July 17 at 8pm.
Come to a “Never-Forget” event: the remembering of the Destruction of the First Temple and the Babylonian Exile. This is Tisha B’Av. Our memorial poem, the Book of Lamentations, has been transformed into a play featuring various voices of the time. After a short introduction by Rabbi Me’irah, Or Shalomers will speak the various parts as we listen to resonances for our own times, in hopes of not repeating history.

We’re in love with love!

Ahead of Loving Day, join us for a Kabbalat Shabbat service celebrating all kinds of racially and ethnically diverse Jewish couples and families! Jewish diversity manifests across multiple generations, in self-described religious, secular, and interfaith families, and in every geographic corner of the Jewish community.

Only 50 years ago, the landmark Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia legalized in*******al marriage throughout the United States. Mildred and Richard Loving demanded and won the right to live as an ordinary, everyday, loving couple, just like the families we will celebrate for this special Shabbat. This upcoming celebration will bring together their stories while connecting us with the tunes and prayers of thousands of years of tradition.

Join Be’chol Lashon and 18Doors together with Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, PJ Library, Free Synagogue of Flushing, Or Shalom Jewish Community, Honeymoon Israel, and Ketubah.com for this unique celebration of our community’s diversity. May 21 at 2:00 PM PT/5:00 PM ET. RSVP: https://globaljews.org/love
