Sunday Worship
*We gather for worship each Sunday because we are happiest when the center of life is not ourselves, but the Holy One.*

WELCOME to Ebenezer/herchurch Lutheran! Everyone welcome in this communion! We are a community of hospitality, which expresses inclusivity through word and worship, deed and ministry programming. As a community of the people of God/dess, we are called to minister to *ALL* people of our world, knowing that the world is often an unloving place. We strive to be a place of celebration and bring some magic into people's lives.

From: Pastor Stacy

We have been fortunate to add to our herchurch community, Te Martin, who is leading empowering and spirited song circles for us.

For the past couple of years, Te has been filled with singing on her bike, in the streets, and in community song circles. She has written handfuls of songs, learned hundreds of others from oral song-catchers, and dreamed of sharing hers in recorded form.

Now – she is going for it!!!

I encourage you, as you are able, to join me in supporting her first recording session. See the details at her GoFundMe site below:

General information

THE COLOR PURPLE The present church building was painted purple and periwinkle in hopes to help proclaim liberating love. Sacred dance and chants, classical hymnody with liberating lyrics, beautiful art, and engaging faith conversations and acts of justice are a regular part of this worshipping community. ABOUT THE PASTOR Stacy Boorn, an ordained Lutheran pastor for 25 years, claims her malestream theological education opened the door to her presently building a Goddess inclusive congregation and ministry. SUNDAY'S AT 10:30AM Pastor Stacy's tradition, which teaches a celebratory good-news grounded sermon in liberating love and free grace from the Holy Other, provided a rich soil for growing a New Vision: herchurch! The liturgy, community and ministry of the congregation reflects diverse thealogical works and voices hoping to be a part of the prophetic voice of the divine feminine that will deconstruct Christianity and other patriarchal religions so that both a new paradigm and worldview may emerge that truly creates egalitarian just society and eco-sensitivities that tend to mending the web of life. On Sunday's we sing songs, play drums or tambourines, listen to Pastor Stacy's thought-provoking sermons, and have a nice time at the coffee hour after liturgy. Come check it out! GODDESS ROSARY MEDIATION HOUR ON WEDNESDAY 7-8PM herchurch initiated a new ritual: The Goddess Rosary. Using the numeration of the Anglican Rosary congregants pray with beaded rosaries and use them in their personal devotional life and every Wednesday at 7 – 8 PM during a public reciting of the Goddess Rosary which includes prayers that are liberating and empowering (Our Mother Who is within us by Mariam Teresa Winters, a Roman Catholic Feminist and Hail Goddess Full of Grace by Carol Christ a Goddess Feminist). During the hour you will find for your meditative use: Tibetan bowls, bells, incense, water, she-icons, Goddess Rosaries, candles, stones, and sacred space. These are provided for individual meditation. Come celebrate with herchurch!
