Hey GrX SF,
Check out this cool rhyme we've recently unearthed:
"On the first Sunday of the month,
We meet with Lighthouse before lunch!"
That's right, this Sunday (4/2) we'll be having a joint Sunday service with Lighthouse SF church. Please note that while the location is the same, the service times are different:
Location: 1337 Sutter St., San Francisco, CA 94107
Time: 9:30 am & 11 am (nursery thru pre-school care will be provided for the 9:30 am service, big kids for the 11 am service )
We've entered a new season at GrX SF where we meet for worship at the following times on Sunday:
** 1ST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH: 9:30am or 11am
Joint worship with our brothers and sisters of Lighthouse Church
** EVERY OTHER SUNDAY: 5pm
With potluck dinner (newcomers, no need to bring anything but yourselves!)
We look forward to worshipping with you!
Hello! Everyone!! Reminder: this week, GRX SF will be joining with Lighthouse's Sunday service, 5/8.
There will be guest speakers, Bob and Gracie Ekblad sharing GOD's word and GOD's work through them.
There will be two services.

Let's prepare our hearts to hear and receive God's words. See you all on Sunday.

"Moses saw the oppression of his people and felt certain that he was the one to deliver them, but he had to be trained and disciplined by God first. He was right in his individual perspective, but he was not the person for the work until he had learned true fellowship and oneness with God. Our individual effort for God will be rendered radiant through a time of great personal growth." --Oswald Chambers, from My Utmost for His Highest
Food for thought: what would happen if we asked God to sift us like wheat? An interesting perspective on what it really looks like to be great:

*Please Pray With Hope For YWAM*
As Pastor Sean mentioned this past Sunday, in the past few days YWAM SF was hit with the news that they may lose the lease on their building in the heart of the Tenderloin if they can't come up with $500,000 to make a down payment to purchase the building by June 9th.
YWAM SF has been steadily serving the underrepresented populations of the city for two decades, and is one of the few centers that has been open 24/7 in serving the homeless, providing support for victims of sex trafficking, and hosting weekly prayer walks through the city. Countless people have come to Christ and have found hope and healing through God's work through this ministry.
Despite all that is happening, we still have the power to make difference by exercising our ability to intercede and pray for YWAM and the shalom of the city. If you feel led to donate financially, please do so below by visiting the link.

Hey GrX SF,
If you notice yourself tripping over some very... short congregation members during this Sunday's service, don't be alarmed. It's the very first time we're inviting the kiddos to attend worship with us!
Afterwards, we'll all head downstairs to eat as a covenant family with what's sure to be an amazing meal, so COME HUNGRY.

Hi GrX-SF! Just a friendly reminder that we will not have access to the parking lot this Sunday (3/23) as Mission High has an event and will be using the lot all day. We suggest avoiding parking along the center median on Dolores St. since the MTA has been known to ticket cars starting at 1 PM if the neighbors complain.
We suggest good old public transportation, carpooling, or street parking in the surrounding areas.
[02/23/14] We have all church dinner tonight - come hungry!!
