As you reflect on 2013 and make your declaration of committing yourself to the Lord, remember that He has brought you this far and He does not give up on you whether you have reached a new level in His purpose or not, He will not relent once you have given your heart to Him. There is absolutely nothing you can do to make Him love you less - John 8:36 says "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." KJV
Let us begin this year knowing that He loves us unconditionally and know that WE ARE FREE INDEED as we leave behind the disappointments, hurts, mistakes - we leave the past in the past trusting His Word and promise to finish that work He began in us to completion (Philippians 1:6).
Praying your 2014 is a year of restoration, healing, promotion and that your purpose in Him is revealed - To God be the Glory! In Jesus Name, AMEN!
We love you!!!

[07/15/13] For your Maker is your Husband--the Lord of hosts is His name--and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; the God of the whole earth He is called. For the Lord has called you like a woman forsaken, grieved in spirit, and heartsore--even a wife [wooed and won] in youth, when she is [later] refused and scorned, says your God. For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion and mercy I will gather you [to Me] again. In a little burst of wrath I hid My face from you for a moment, but with age-enduring love and kindness I will have compassion and mercy on you, says the Lord, your Redeemer. (Isaiah 54:5-8 AMP)

Our "if Onlies"
It is good to regret missed opportunities, but quite wrong to be miserable about them. You cannot look back across your past life without seeing things to regret. That is as t should be. But we have to draw a subtle distinction between a legitimate regret and a wrong condition of heart. Give God your "if Onlies".
Think of those laborers in the vineyard in the parable which Jesus told Matthew 20:1-16. They all received the same wages, although some had worked the whole day and some had worked for only an hour. Compare that to a persons life. Some people enter the kingdom right at the end of their lives. They may regret all those years when they were not serving Christ. But the important thing is that they are in the kingdom. The thing that matters first of all, if you are a Christian, is not what you once were but what you are now.
Lord Jesus, I give my "if Onlies" to you. Make me a faithful laborer here and now.
The Lord says, “I will give you back what you lost to the swarming locusts, the hopping locusts, the stripping locusts, and the cutting locusts. It was I who sent this great destroying army against you. (Joel 2:25 NLT)

Like many women each morning, perhaps you wake up, pour yourself a cup of caffeine, take a shower and then get ready to meet the world. You pick out an outfit (preferably one that makes you look five to ten pounds lighter), do your hair and put on makeup. Finally, you add jewelry, a belt and maybe a purse. Voilá! You’re ready to meet the day.
The care involved in our routines begs the question: How much time do we spend getting ready spiritually each morning? Do we take any time at all to ask God to guide us during our day? Do we read the Scriptures, meditate or pray so that we can be more patient, kind and loving with our spouse and children? Or do we worry more about getting out the door than about the condition of our hearts?
Caring for our outward appearance is not wrong . . . as long as we don’t neglect focusing on our inner thoughts and attitudes too. The prophet Jeremiah noted that women are unlikely to forget their accessories, but God’s people are prone to forget him. If we’re honest, we’ll admit that we are much like the Israelites. In the midst of our busy lives, God often gets pushed to the bottom of our to-do lists. But spiritual growth happens from the inside out.
Try this: Tomorrow as you shower, praise God for the cleansing that Jesus’ forgiveness provides. As you’re getting dressed, thank God for clothing you with Christ’s righteousness. When you put on your moisturizer, ask God to soften your heart to his leading throughout the day. As you apply your makeup, thank him for being the foundation of your life. When you put in your contacts, ask God to give you eyes to see his workings in the world. And as you put on your earrings, thank him for beautifying your life with the fruits of the Spirit.
Who knows? After talking to God throughout the morning, you might not even need caffeine!
1. What “enemies of the soul” (busyness, etc.) cause you to sometimes forget to take time with God?
2. How much time do you spend daily in prayer and Bible study, preparing your heart for the day?
3. What are some ways you can become more balanced in your life?
“Does a young woman forget her jewelry, a bride her wedding ornaments? Yet my people have forgotten me, days without number.”
Have a blessed Cinco De Mayo! We love you all.
"And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins." (1 Corinthians 15:17 NLT)
BUT praise God, we BELIEVE He was raised! And rejoice this resurrection day.

2 John 1,13
1 To the choosen lady and her children, whom I love in the truth- and not I only, but also all who know the truth- 13 The children of your choosen sister send their greetings.
Who was this "chosen lady" who merited a letter from the apostle John? How did she come to faith in Christ? How often we wish the Bible offered more details about individuals and events, and in this letter we are left to wonder an unnamed, unidentified woman and her "chosen sister." Scholars have speculated that these two woman were leaders of house churches and that the children mentioned were their spiritual children. As such they may have had an important role in the foundation growth of the early church . In one sense, it is their lack of identity that allows them to better represent the countless "chosen ladies" from around the world who have faithfully served the Lord through the centuries-women whose names have been lost in the annuals of history.
I often wonder where would we be today were it not for the "chosen women" in OUR lives (past and present). Let us pray that the Lord will use us to help press on the Glory of God in speech and action. More importantly,to Love them as Christ has loved us. John 13:34-35
