Principle 1: Realize I'm not God. I admit that I am powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and that my life is unmanageable. “Happy are those who know that they are spiritually poor.” Matthew 5:3a Until we admit we are powerless and need help, it is difficult to accept the help. Celebrate Recovery

There’s this yearning we get as humans that pushes us for more. We want more time off, more time away, more stuff, more of just about anything. If left unchecked, this longing can fill our world with want instead of God’s serenity.

But did you know that while some things might satiate temporarily, only Jesus has a 100% success rate on serenity.

He satisfies those who are thirsty and fills the hungry with good things. Psalms‬ ‭107:9

How does Christ satisfy your soul and provide you peace and serenity?

Log on to celebraterecovery.com to find a CR near you. If you’ve been looking to figure out how to temporarily facilitate or attend CR online, go to celebraterecovery.com/CRCR for more information on our Celebrate Recovery Crisis Response.

Also, we are having an online Summit this summer! You can find more information and sign your team up at crsummits.com.

Joy!

Hello forever family! Brookelynn here to talk about joy with you all, and dive into the next fruit of the spirit. We love you all!

Hey guys! We wanted to share a verse to encourage you this Monday. It’s always good to remember that the Lord is faithful even when we find ourselves in tough seasons. We love y’all and hope you have a great start to your week!

Hey Forever Family!

This month, our new Landing residents are leading us in a conversation on the fruit of the Spirit!

Today, Cort shares how the love of God has shaped him in his own recovery, and how he’s learning to love like Christ one day at a time.

Admitting our need allows us to find comfort and healing in Jesus Christ!

Luke 15

Godly endurance: Hebrews 11:1-2

It can be challenging to walk with God in this season. Fix your eyes on Jesus and reach out to community.

GOOD NEWS! We will be creating a special drive through pick up for your coins/chips this Friday Night on both campuses.

Here are some details:

When: THIS FRIDAY, May 1st 5:30pm-6:15pm

Where: On the Fellowship Rogers campus! Below is a map of our campus so you know how things will flow for each.

Who: Anyone that wants to drive through and pick up a coin. Students included as long as they stay in the car with you.

NOTE: Absolutely no one can exit their car at any time.

What: When you enter the campus parking lot, you will see our staff and team stationed with big signs to help guide you through the correct route with instructions.

Once you get to the CHIP PICK-UP station:

Roll your window down and call out the chip that you want to pick up (Again, please stay in your vehicle)

The Chip person will walk over with a mask and gloves and place the chip in your hand. NOTE: Please do not grab it from them to eliminate risk of touching hands. Sorry, no high fives or hugs this time but our smiles and cheers will help you know we are celebrating with you!

Once you get your chip/coin, follow the route as shown on the map below and our TEAM will be there in their cars honking and flashing their car lights as you drive by.

Exit the parking lot to head back home.

There will be a huge temptation to want to linger for this but to honor our Elders directive and keep everyone safe, we ask that as soon as you have picked up your chip/coin that you leave the parking lot so that those behind you can get theirs too.

Why: We know we can't meet right now in person but want to find a creative and safe way to celebrate with all of you. We miss you all so much!!

We are praying for you all!
