COSTA RICA // The focus of this trip is to partner with Max and Tara Martin, local missionaries in the Talamanca rainforest in Limon, Costa Rica. You will aid in the work they are doing to disciple, equip and share Jesus with the lost and broken in Costa Rica. It will be a transformative week where you are pushed outside of your comfort zone and get to experience the Lord in a whole new way.
What did God teach you last year in Costa Rica? "Costa Rica was one of the first times in my life where I could truly feel God’s presence, and more importantly the first time I felt like I could have a relationship with Him. On the trip, He taught me how to find the goodness in people and how to serve others with a servant’s heart."
Applications MUST be turned in by 8am on Nov. 4th.
We're going to England this year! // Seniors will spend time in schools, with local church leaders while serving the surrounding community. Students will learn from on the ground missionaries what it's like to follow Jesus in a post-Christian society.
Why are you so excited about this trip for our students?
"The chance for students to be immersed in a post-Christian culture with no language barrier. And chances to partner with on the ground churches to take the good news of Jesus where he is known of but not loved. I want students to be able to answer this question by the end of the trip: Do I actually believe what I say I believe, or is it just part of my culture and life?" -Hunter House
Application due: Nov.4th by 8am.
Minnesota // A week servicing with Engaged Global in Minneapolis focusing on equipping our team to learn about and engage with unreached people groups and different world religions. Each days we will participate in classroom style learning and then hands on, practical training. The vision of this trip is to cultivate in our team God's heart for the nations and give us an understanding of our role in God's story of redemption for all people.
This is the first time we're taking this trip, what gets you the most excited? “I get so excited about our students having the chance to learn about and experience God’s heart for all people and nations in such a way that it leads them to worship God more deeply and love people more extravagantly.”
APPLICATION DUE BY: 8AM ON NOV.4TH
EIKON // This is a trip where high school students go to Memphis, TN and focus on discipleship, evangelism, and personal spiritual disciplines - learning to take the good news of Jesus to hard places. They will get to engage in community, service, and learning to take their faith as their own.
What did you learn when you went to Eikon last year? "I didn't really know what to expect when I went to Eikon, but I ended up learning some really heart changing stuff. I was able to see what a true life for Christ looks like, how to choose God every day, and how to make disciples. Eikon taught me that the best way to make a positive impact is to let God in, and then others will be able to see Him through you."
This is the heart of what we do and why we do it! We desire that each student leaves FSM with the tools necessary to be a world-changing follower of Jesus!

Over the past 8 months, @fsmnwa has put together a discipleship resource for anyone that’s investing into teens/pre-teens. The book is called Listen, and it’s pretty simple. It’s a book full of questions/scripture related to different topics or situations that a teenager might be walking through, like school, family, sports, theology, dating/breakups, friendships, generosity, and plenty more.
"The book is meant to foster emotional connection and understanding between the student and parent/mentor. We pray that this book will help with intentional conversations as parents/mentors seek to help young people walk more closely with Jesus."-Hunter House
Books are $5. Feel free to contact [email protected] if you’d like a copy!

Fall Retreat is a great mix between fun and getting serious about your faith with the people you love all around you. So sign up!!! You won’t regret it!" - Brenley | Senior
