I lost a friend today. One I have been friends with since the Freshman Picnic at Kansas Wesleyan University in 1960. I lived in Oklahoma and he lived in New Mexico yet our friendship never wavered. Even as he has left to be with our Heavenly Father I know our bond will never be broken. Do I miss him ,do I grieve, yes , but I know we will certainly meet again. I ask you for your prayers for my dear departed friend Jim Howden, His Wife Maryanne, his son Stephen Howden and his grandson Brandon and all those who will mourn his passing.. Peace of the Lord be with you.
Has anyone in the neighborhood considered hosting a foreign exchange student for a year. We have a young man arriving on the 24th and the host family had to back out at the last minute. All adults in the home would need to apply for a background check.

Miguel Gonzalez and I are pleased to announce the birth of our granddaughter Madilynn Rose. She is 8 pounds, 15oz., 21 inches long.
Hello,
My name is James and I was born and raised in New Mexico. My legal staff and experts were in Albuquerque on June 7, 2018 and had a hearing with the FDA on the “Right to Try” alternative treatments when it comes to terminal illness;
• Cancer: Most cancers can either become terminal or be diagnosed as such including breast cancer and lung cancer.
• Leukemia.
• AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome)
• Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome.
• Heart Disease such as Severe Coronary Artery Disease.
• Ebola Hemorrhagic Fever
• Kidney Disease,
• Stroke
• AIDS
• Neurological conditions like Parkinson's disease
• Late stages of Alzheimer's
• Addiction
Through our hearing, we were able to educate the public and local government officials in Rio Rancho that it is time to stand up for terminally ill patients in NM. Your Representatives are asking that we find patients in Sandoval County that would like to be able to use alternative treatments. These treatments include those in the process of FDA approval.

The National and State Constitutions give all New Mexicans unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Terminal illness and the addictions shorten our life, restrict our liberty and stop us from the pursuit of happiness. As your aware, chemo therapy and radiation kill cancer as well as good cells. We believe that we are denied our basic rights without other options.

If you know someone who would like to have options other than Chemo, Radiation and Opioids, please have them or a family member give me a call or send me an email.

May God continue to bless your congregation as you live out his word.

In his name,
James Quintana, CEO
Americans’ Coordination Institute Ltd.

Thank you everyone for your kindness and understanding. We are continually trying to improve our Live service and sometimes new people, equipment, and the internet do not always work as smoothly as we would like.

A little positivity and love from Fr. Alex to end your work week...

For you:

10 slow deep breaths.

I swear you have time to do this.
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

Slower.
6.

Breathe all the way in til your breath hitches, then slowly out.
7.
8.
9.

For all the marbles
10.

Oooooout.

Grateful for every breath, and you. Vamos.

Devotional Resources 09/11/2021

Devotional Resources

Two ideas about giving that I shared in this week's (September 5th) sermon come from The Book of Mormon, from the book of Mosiah, chapter 4, a teaching on giving to the poor. The first is the importance of learning to walk before running. And the second is the quote for those who have not the time or money to give, to say in their heart, "If I had it, I would give it." - Rev. Alex Lenzo
