FUMCR is a place where you find warm greetings, friendly smiles and inspiring messages while we support one another as we travel on our faith journeys!

You are invited to join us as we continue the spirit of our Year of Service during an All-Church Study of Bob Goff’s book "Love Does."
The study starts Wednesday, June 3rd and we have a spot on Zoom waiting just for you, as we are challenged to shamelessly show love and grace to those around us. Sometimes in the most whimsical of ways! fumcr.com/YearOfService
Remember the balance during these times: Take care of yourself and do good for yourself (it's not selfish, but healthy), and do good for others, for it's often in giving that we receive.
Thank you to Rev. Dr. Terry Parsons for leading our Strength for Today conversation last night guiding us, and giving us space to bring our fears, our tears, our laughter, and our love for God - no matter what! #LoveServedHere
What are some ways to have a faith-filled response to our global pandemic? Why do I feel so worn down even though I've been praying and doing devotionals? Where is hope, and will I see it when it comes?
We invite you to wrestle with these questions as Dr. Terry Parsons joins Drs. April Johnson Bristow and Clayton Oliphint in a conversation about living as a person of faith during difficult times. The forum will address why our church talks about mental health, using a Wesleyan framework to develop a response, the psychology of living in a pandemic, and hope for tomorrow.

On this Memorial Day, we hope that each of us takes a moment and reflect on those who have made our freedoms possible. We thank you for your sacrifice, and for the sacrifice of your families and loved ones.
