Internationally renowned soulful singer-songwriter Lola Kristine gave a beautiful concert here several weeks ago. She sang such inspiring songs with crystal clear voice!
We had a delightful time today at The Chocolate Angel. Many laughs and wonderful food!
Walker & Adams, a local husband and wife musical duo, performed for us last Thursday in The Leaves Great Room. We joined them to sing a few of our Christmas favorites!
Instead of "going on a sleigh ride" we created our own! And to make it even better, we used chocolate!

The Thanksgiving festivities continued with turkey volleyball! We had a gobblin’ good time bopping the “turkeys” around! It was so fun to get in the holiday spirit with a bit of light-hearted activity. #thanksgiving #happyholidays #turkeyvolleyball #balloonvolleyball #keepitup
Our Creekside residents enjoyed a special Hawaiian treat! Dorayne Breedlove brought her hula dancing presentation to The Leaves. We were all “Living the Life of Aloha” and had a fantastic time! #huladancing #hawaii
Our Thanksgiving craft time produced these adorable turkey coasters for our place settings!
Ashley Alarcon's concert was enlightening and so entertaining! We enjoyed hearing flute pieces from the Baroque era, an Ernesto Koehler waltz and the Carmen Fantasy entract. Such beautiful music and a lovely flutist!
Our "Costumes as You Can & Cupcakes Party" was so much fun. We enjoyed filling in the punchlines for Halloween jokes as well. We think our answers were even better than the published ones!
Pumpkin Decorating was absolutely boo-tiful!
Dallas Zoo animals at the Garland Public Library - we loved this!
Our group was amazed at the animals the Dallas Zookeepers brought to the Garland Central Library recently!
We had a great time playing balloon volleyball in October!
A lovely day for a trip to the Dallas Arboretum - a little rain, a nice breeze, sun breaking through the clouds and a wonderful group of people!

We loved having the Walker & Adams Singing Duo perform at The Leaves this week!
We got to go to the Biblical Arts Museum in Dallas and it was fantastic! We even got to meet one of the artists.
We had a lot of fun making 4th of July crafts!
We're so grateful that Robby could come and play beautiful flute music for us with his grandad Mark on the piano!

Congratulations to Alan Musere, one of our very own Christian Science nurses, on his graduation from the Christian Science Nursing Arts program! Alan and Yvonne Fitzwilliams, The Leaves Director of Christian Science Nursing, attended the graduation ceremony at Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association in Boston, MA. over the weekend.
Yesterday we took a trip to Ennis, TX for a bluebonnets tour and enjoyed lunch at The Wildflower Café! It was beautiful!
Our very own Nathan Blaisdell played music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s last week in the Great Room! It was a lot of fun!
Last Thursday our residents saw a performance of the Class Act Tap Dance company at Garland Central Library. It was a lot of fun!
We were so happy to have our friend Annette Bridges back to share the fun of paint by number artwork!
