Serving God. Loving People. Influencing the World Sunday School 9:45 AM Sunday Worship 10:45 AM Bible Study 6:30PM

From its earliest days Parkton Community Church has chosen a style of ministry that seeks to present the truth of Christ in genuine and meaningful ways. Typically, churches have gained a reputation for being boring and out-of-touch with real life. We're working to change that by presenting a life-changing message through the Holy Spirit's power in ways that people can relate to. If you dig a little deeper you'll find that not only is our church built on an authentic, contemporary and relevant approach to ministry, but also on a foundation that represents the very heartbeat of God. It's our desire to pour our energies into what Jesus says really counts in life: Loving God and Loving People. The first of all the commandments is found in Mark 12:29-31 Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.

Mission: Influencing people to find and follow Jesus.

[05/11/19]   Good morning. A ride to church would be a wonderful Mothers Day present to give your Mother. To sit with her in church on her special day would mean so much more than lunch at a hurried, crowded, loud restrauant. I invite you to join us for service tomorrow. Surprise your Mother with a call that says: I'm picking you up for church in the morning. We will be waiting for you.
And to all the Mothers out there,

In the midst of your struggles, pray… whispers of love, hope, courage, and need… back and forth from your heart to Jesus.

“I need help.”
And Jesus whispers, “I am your strength and your ever present help.” (Psalm 46:1)

“This situation makes me afraid. Comfort me.”
And Jesus whispers, “Do not be afraid or discouraged. I am with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)

“I love you. Help me see Your love today.”
And Jesus whispers, “Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8)

“Give me the courage to do this in Your name.”
And Jesus whispers, “Nothing shall separate us.” (Romans 8:38-39)

The Supreme Question “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (11:25-26)

'Amen, Amen
I’m alive, I’m alive
Because He lives
Amen, Amen
Let my song join the one that never ends
Because He lives'
