A Student Apologetics Alliance
Ratio Christi seeks to encourage and strengthen the faith of Christian students at secular and liberal institutions across the country, while also sharing Christ's message and love to those that have yet to receive it, through the use of intellectual investigation and apologetics. Ratio Christi believes that Christians have failed to address the pressing questions of worldview, science, philosophy, history, etc. Consequently, the Secular Humanist worldview has overtaken the university and the minds of students. By situating apologetic clubs at universities across the nation, we hope to take part in the battle for the mind and begin to reverse the Humanist trend of thought by providing and equipping students with the answers, or means of getting the answers, to the pressing questions of life. *Ratio Christi appreciates financial support. A screening of the science documentary Revolutionary will be followed with a Q&A with Dr. Behe.
Dr. Behe has a Ph.D. in biochemistry and is best known for his book Darwin's Black Box. He argues that certain biochemical systems show evidence of intelligent design. That is, we are not the products of blind physical forces, but have been created by a personal and intelligent agent--perhaps God. The event is free.

"Science is an unbelievably value means of knowing the world. We should never downplay its significance. But, as Hart points out, we should avoid the temptation to overplay its significance as well."

Ratio Christi @ UCF equips university students and faculty to give historical, philosophical, and scientific reasons for following Jesus Christ. We bring together faith and reason to establish the intellectual voice of Christ in the University. Students, engaged in the battle for the mind, learn to defend God's existence, the reliability of the Bible, and the fact of Christ’s resurrection. Ratio Christi is a safe place to bring doubts, questions, and challenges about Christianity. Our goal is to ask the hard questions and come to reasonable conclusions.

Does God exist or is the material universe all that ever was and ever will be?
Come see us at Opening Knights in the Student Union.
[07/29/16] Ratio Christi has spent the summer looking at the general case for Christianity. We have looked at what it means for something to be true, arguments for the existence of God, the reliability of the New Testament documents (both in its preservation and in its claims to be recorded history), the self-understanding of Jesus, and Biblical inerrancy. We will be finishing up this coming Thursday looking at the problem of evil and touching upon the question of what about those who have not heard the gospel. We meet at 2 in the Student Union. Come join us.
[06/20/16] We will be meeting this Thursday @ 2 in the SU to discuss the question of miracles. In particular we will be looking at the objections of Benedict Spinoza and David Hume. Message for details.
[04/29/16] We will be meeting during the summer on Thursdays @ 2pm. More than likely somewhere in or around the Student Union. We will be going through the book I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist.
[04/20/16] We will be meeting this Thursday @ 7 in the Student Union wherever we can find space. If you can find us throw us a message!
