[07/14/16]   One of the first things I think of when I hear the phrase, "sound moral character".. is honesty. Are we taking the time to hear God's voice? Are we approaching life with an open heart and mind? Are we relying on the power of Jesus? Are we analyzing our motives? Are we actively seeking change through our thoughts and actions? This week we will dive into Lesson 8: MORAL.. JOIN US!
6:30 Coffee, Snacks and Fellowship
7:00 Large group meeting
8:00 Small Group meetings

I'm a rebel!

I believe it was Pee Wee Herman who said "I'm a loner, a rebel.."
It turned out for him, that he very much needed the help of his friends to make it through his big adventure. Well, recovery is NO DIFFERENT! We need the support of friends and family, as well as the guidance of a sponsor/accountability partner to get through our "BIG ADVENTURE" ! The bible supports this fact, using the phrase "one another" over fifty times in the New Testament.
Tonight we will discuss the importance of having a SPONSOR- someone that has worked through the principles and steps of recovery. JOIN US!
6:30 Coffee, Snacks and Fellowship
7:00 Large group meeting
8:00 Small Group meetings

This was on TV today...I love this line.

[06/17/16]   I am reminded today that love is an ACTION word. If I believe that I am called to LOVE others as I LOVE myself, and in turn, that how I LOVE others is a reflection of how I LOVE GOD--- then I cannot and will not accept being stuck in a negative cycle of depression, fear, anger, guilt or stress. This week we will discuss the ACTION we can choose to take in changing our lives on the road to freedom and the full, abundant life that walking with Jesus provides.

Join us in the CONNECTION CAFE at 6:30 for coffee/snacks
7pm- Worship/ Large group
8pm- Small group discussions

God's love, peace, hope and strength will prevail.

[06/03/16]   I met a guy once who spent a considerable amount of time in the military. Actually, he was one in a line of many generations of men in his family that served in the military. He grew up with the motto, "NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER" drilled into his mind. I understand that reasoning. What does not make sense to my own line of logic, is that in order to "win" some battles, I actually need to SURRENDER and turn over control to a power greater than myself. Making a decision to do that and trust in something I don't fully understand has changed my life, my family's life and hopefully will have an effect on everyone I meet. Tonight Pastor Josh will walk us through the process of turning our lives over to Christ's care and control.

Join us tonight at:

6:30 for light snacks and coffee in the Connection Cafe
7:00 for Large group meeting
8:00 for Men's or Women's Share Groups

[05/17/16]   Are you insane? That is a great question. I would say that most people are because we have a tendency to grow comfortable in dysfunctional patterns of thought and behavior--- doing and thinking the same things over and over again, expecting somehow that our lives will change THIS TIME.. There is a better way to live. There is a way to break free and begin to live OPEN.
This week we will discuss SANITY----TAKE YOURS BACK and why not join us this week---

DINNER at 6pm
Large Group Meeting at 7pm
Small Group discussions at 8pm

[05/11/16]   Once a thug, always a thug. That's what the world wants you to believe. In some cases that might be true, but in this case- God had a different plan. Come this Friday and hear the story of a young man caught in the cycle of addiction and life on the street. It would have been easy to assume the worst, but through God's grace and mercy, this young man has been restored and God is using him to inspire others.

Dinner at 6pm
Worship at 7pm
Small groups at 8pm
Childcare provided from 6:30-9pm

[05/04/16]   When we have HOPE, we believe things can get better. When we have been hurt deeply, it is possible to lose sight of a loving, caring God, who wants us all to have an abundant life. The message of hope and restoration that Jesus brings can be the difference between a lifetime of struggle or a pathway to freedom from our hurts. It can provide a way out of the prison-like cycle of addiction. It can help us to replace our destructive thinking and habits for a new way of life. Join us this week and share this post with as many people as you can.

DINNER from 6-6:45
WORSHIP from 7-8
FREE CHILDCARE from 6:30-9

Don't Walk ALONE!

[04/18/16]   We have discussed the need to step out of DENIAL and start recognizing and seeking a change in the way we have been living. This week we will discuss what it means to be POWERLESS and how when we embrace that fact, we are able to tap into a power source that can move us into a place of change and growth! Come and join us this Friday at 7pm.

Large group gathering from 7-8pm
Small groups meet from 8-9pm

Childcare available from 6:30-9pm free of charge:)

Do you want to help someone? Share this post!

[04/12/16]   A husband helplessly addicted to drugs and alcohol since childhood- a wife who did not understand the severity of addiction or her husband's illness- three innocent children born into a seemingly hopeless situation. What does Jesus do? HE BRINGS HOPE and RESTORATION! This Week we will hear a testimony of God's grace, love and healing in the lives of this family.
This Friday April 15th
WORSHIP starts at 7pm
Childcare provided at no cost
