Isaiah 43:2, AMP
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you”.
In life, you will go through difficult situations, but God ensures that you’re victorious, regardless of the circumstance.
Romans 14: 10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat.
11 It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[b]
12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.
13 Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.
Let’s continue to lift each other up in prayer.
Romans 6:1, 2
“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?”.
The grace of God is not available so we can continue in sin. As Believer's, we are to turn away from sin because it is not a part of our new identity in Christ.
[09/21/20] Exercise your FAITH!
[09/01/20] Phil. 4:8-9 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

ITS NEVER TO LATE TO START OVER
It’s never too late to correct past mistakes. Some mistakes may not be able to be completely fixed, but you can, with persistence and effort, amend those mistakes. You can get back up and start again. From that point on, you can choose to use the lessons of the past to walk into a changed future. The pain of the past is real, but the prospect of a better future is always in front of you.
[06/09/19] This is the day that the LORD has made I will rejoice and be glad in it.
Discipline in Compassion
Today, think about how you can direct your compassion toward something specific, such as volunteering at a hospital, homeless shelter, nursing home, or animal rescue center.
PRAYER AND GOD'S WORD
Whatever you’re facing right now, God’s Word has wisdom for you. In fact, like Hebrews 4:12 says, the Word of God is alive. The words in the Bible that were written more than 2,000 years ago have something profound to say about our everyday struggles today.
If you follow Christ, Romans 8:11 says that you have access to the power of the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that rose Jesus from the dead. The same Holy Spirit that inspired Paul to write letters to churches around the world that now inspire us. The same Holy Spirit that spoke to King David as he wrote some of the Psalms.
How awesome is that? When you read the Bible, the Holy Spirit can speak to you — just as He did to the authors of the Scriptures! When you need wisdom from God’s Word, the Holy Spirit is ready to guide you. Where is the best place to start?
Don’t let the idea of prayer intimidate you. Prayer simply means talking to God, and then listening to Him. Even Jesus prayed. And because Jesus said several times, “When you pray…,” we know that He expects us to pray, too.
The next time you open the Bible to read God’s Word, take a moment to pray. If you’re not sure where to begin, here’s a good place to start:
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me a way to talk to You. As I read the Bible today, please send Your Holy Spirit to meet with me, and speak to me through Your Word. Amen.
Endurance in Discipline
Setting and reaching a goal takes discipline and endurance. Whatever you have set out to accomplish—with yourself, your children, your spouse, your job, or in any aspect of your life—determine to be consistent.
Compassion in Discipline
Is there someone whom you have expressed disapproval or disappointment toward? Take some time to understand their situation and listen to their point of view.
Discipline in Discipline
Today, determine not to let negative thinking consume your day. Curb any negative thoughts by placing a boundary on them.
Humility in Loving-Kindness
Today, take a moment to understand something from someone else’s point of view.
Compassion in Loving-Kindness
Today, find the beauty in someone you don’t know, and give them a compliment.
Practice Discipline in Loving-Kindness
Today, recognize a need in someone you love and do your best to meet that need.
