Hi to all my readers out there, As we are all being hit really hard with the covid-19, we must remain to stay hopeful, because Jesus is our hope for today, tomorrow and forever. We can trust him completely. The storms we are going through can make us feel lonely, defeated and indecisive. How we choose to get through these storms is up to us. We can choose to be lost, or we can look to the Lord, for help. Together, with the Lord's help, I have written a book titled, "HAVING JOY IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM" to encourage and inspire all of us while we are facing our storms. It is my shining testimony of the last seven years, when my health tried to steal my joy from the Lord. During the last seven years, I was diagnosed with having had cancer of the pancreas and later, I was diagnosed with having had cancer of the breast. I am now a diabetic, because my spleen was removed during the surgery. I was in a wheelchair for a year caused from a life-changing injury, a terrible fall that gave me pain radiating down my legs. I suffered minimal side effects from a stroke. I was diagnosed with having a malfunction in my brain neurons, they are not connecting properly which allows me to have seizures. Because of the chemo I endured, from the breast cancer, I now have neuropathy in both my feet and hands. It has also left me with severe osteoporosis. I live in chronic pain daily from sciatica and piriformis syndrome, plus several other health conditions including fibromyalgia. I had to crawl to the foot of my savior's cross, lay all my burdens at his feet and leave them there. Once, I did this I felt such a peace and comfort come over me and I have never looked back, because it was in the low of the valley, where I met Jesus. He is the rock I cling to when I am sinking in the sand. I want my readers to know, no matter what kind of adversity we encounter here on earth, even the covid-19, as long as we hold tight to " JESUS" we can make it anything. My book is for any gender, young and older It has something special in it for everyone. I take you all on the journey with me, as the Lord, carries me through each storm and how I surrendered to my Lord, completely. I do not know what tomorrow will bring, I do not even dwell on it, because I know he is right here with me, and he will never leave me. But until then, "I WILL PRAISE HIM IN EACH STORM" IN CHRISTIAN LOVE CINDY ORIOL

There's a big difference between telling the truth and telling the whole truth.

Hovering, overbearing parents squash kids.

Hovering parents, sometimes we call them helicopter parents, stay on top of their kids. โ€œWhen are you going to get your homework done?โ€ โ€œDid you take out the trash yet?โ€ โ€œIโ€™ve told you a hundred times, you have to manage your time better.โ€

Now, you may be trying to teach responsibility but youโ€™re really telling the kids that they arenโ€™t capable.

Thatโ€™s debilitating and when it comes from a stepparent, itโ€™s even worse. It short circuits your developing relationship and makes you feel unsafe to be around.

Hey, if you really want to build up a child, get off their back. Coach them from the side, not force them from the top.
