Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community.

Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find.

Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Day Care/Pre-School Center, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Day Care Facility in our local Welcome Kits.

It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 33% of new residents and families seek out a new Child Care Center shortly after their relocation. As such, approximately 1 out of 3 recipients of our Welcome Kits are actively seeking a new Child Care Center.

I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.

Please reply to this message with your availability or call me at your earliest convenience.

For a faster response, or if you prefer, feel free to text me on my cell which is listed in my signature.

Thanks.

Pause for a moment to reflect on the events of September 11, 2001. Where were you that morning when the news was first released? Recall the impact on your life that day and in the days and months to follow. Pause to remember those who lost their lives - those on the planes, those in the towers, at the Pentagon, on the ground, the firefighters, papramedics and law enforcement officers. Then consider the enormous secondary impact - the family members and friends of those lost, the trauma to those who survived, the medical response teams, the recovery teams, the residents of New York, the long term mental and physical health implications, the impact on our Nation and the world. And also call to mind the profoud sense of national solidarity, love, connection and the resolve to refuse to allow acts of terror to stifle the American spirit, the power of God over all, and His ability to work all things together for the good of those who love him - the power of love to overcome fear and hate, to heal, to restore, and to give hope. Join us for a moment of prayer for all those who continue to grieve and struggle, for God's peace and comfort to be wrapped around each hurting heart, for peace and protection for our Nation and our world, and for all of those who are consumed by hate to find and know God. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

God put us here to love one another... and today is a reminder that some of the people around us feel hopeless and helpless. If you know someone who is struggling, reach out, check in, and really listen. Share some hope and love.

There's so much to be concerned about these days, but also so much for which we can be thankful. Alongside all the unkowns and uncertainties, look for the evidence of all the grace and mercy you need for each moment. Don't get stuck in the overwhelm or stress of it all... and be sure to PRAY. Whether it's devoted prayer time, or prayers whispered while sitting in traffic or in between meetings... prayer connects you to God through conversation and gives you an outlet for all those thoughts and emotions. Confess your worries, give thanks for all your blessings, ask for what you need, have him show you where you can help others, praise him for who he is... and then let it all go. You've got this! Jesus Loves You! Have a great evening!

Happy Monday! Always be aware of what content is filling your thoughts - if you're spending too much time on things that are depressing, stressful, or negative - you'll see and feel the consequences. Likewise, if you fill your thoughts with things true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy... that focus will imapct your life greatly! Be selective!

It's after 3pm! How's your day going? Have you ever spent ten minutes digging through your desk looking for your planner, only to find it dead center in the middle of your desk looking up at you? No? Me either. *Sigh* It's Thursday - and Jesus loves you!

This passage comes just after Jesus fed thousands with next to nothing. Jesus sent the crowd and the disciples on their way so he could be alone to pray. The disciples set off in the boat heading to their next destination, and found themselves in a huge storm. Not able to get through or go back, they were afraid they were going to die.

Have you ever felt like that?

The truth is... we're all going to have to deal with events, and and even seasons, of suffering, trial, and loss. Our faith doesn't exempt us from difficulty in life, frankly, it often requires it of us, providing opportunities to learn, grow, and seek God's guidance.

There are going to be times when we feel helpless and hopeless after trying everything in our own power to fix things. But there is great purpose and value in getting to the end of your rope and not having anyone else to turn to but Jesus.

And we're all going to feel alone sometimes. But you're not. You have Jesus! And you have all the blessings and support he provides to the body of Christ through one another. There's hope, purpose, and a plan. Jesus is the Way. Trust in Him.

**Share a story of when you've felt hopeless, and Jesus "got in the boat" and made it very clear he was present and in control. It could be just what's needed to encourage and inspire someone else.

Please keep those prayers going for Peace Comfort Dog and Team Peace who are "paws on the ground" in Surfside bringing the mercy, compassion, presence, and proclamation of Jesus Christ to those suffering and in need. Wednesday they visited the memorial site and then the family assistance center where they brought much needed comfort to volunteers assisting the families. So many emotions shared by so many people involved, all working to help those whose lives have been forever changed. This morning Peace and team were at Surfside and just as they were getting ready to move to their next location, God placed them in the right place at the right time to meet some of the Fire Rescuers who had just finished their 12-hour shift. THANK YOU GOD for keeping them safe and for the amazing search and recovery efforts they are doing. And THANK YOU GOD for allowing the Trinity Family to be a part of YOUR PLAN for sharing love and comfort to those in need through TEAM PEACE! Follow Peace Comfort Dog on her page, and to learn more about all of the Comfort dogs, visit LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

Does the idea of doing outreach, witnessing, or sharing the gospel with others make you uncomfortable? Do you ever think... "That's not for me" or "I'm not qualified."

When Jesus was here on earth, he chose 12 guys to share the gospel.
They were fishermen and tax collectors... one was even a thief and a liar.
None had the Bible as a text to study and follow.
All of them would desert Jesus when things got rough.
None were preachers, pastors, professors or professional speakers...

What qualified them was that they knew Jesus and they were chosen by him.

Guess what - YOU are too - qualified and chosen.

If the idea of "outreach" make you cringe... then reframe it simply as relationship/friendship/kindness/compassion. It's a kind of Paying-It-Forward campaign, straight from Jesus. Connect with people, and when the door is opened, tell them what you know about Jesus, and how he has changed your life. That's it. The Holy Spirit does the rest.

The work of Jesus is done in the walk of our every day lives. So pay attention to those around you. Connect with them. Wouldn't you tell a friend about your greatest source of hope, direction and comfort? Then tell them all about Jesus. It's that simple.
