Shalom RAV! 72 with asthma and low sugar, but only take thyroid pill daily! Miracle of GOD. But I'm using an r-95 mask that I've had for over 14 years and washing it with detergent and as hot as the sink water will give daily. Grooming to release Yeshua (Salvation)through me and His Holiness daily. Living alone is not easy financially nor socially, but with GOD it's fine. He gave me Sh'mon, my Italian Greyhound after losing my hubby and my last Great Dane, Willy. I'm learning to cook again and this has become such a habit that GOD is redoing my budget again and that's good! But although I was new to your congregation and my Spanish is now very broken since leaving Texas, even though I have a friend/yard man who is from Guatemala and was going to bring him with me one Saturday, I love your congregation of Brethren. Yes I do also go to a Protestant fellowship whose pastors on the campuses and my campus pastor was with Bridges of Peace and spent over 5 years in IsraEl. He taught on the Shema last Sunday online, the main pastor as being the foundation of our Faith with Yeshua being the One Who IS. I truly love Rosh David Pavlik sermons because overall he teaches the New Covenant and applies it to the Tanakh. As a Jewish person who grew up Protestant with no regrets as a Small SBC village church where all the fellowships in my area were filled with believing Jews, I appreciate a leader of the Messianic who can teach most of the New Covenant and perhaps even prophecy . I'm doing all of Isaiah in articles because GOD told me to do it and write on all the Messianic coding of Isaiah or YeshaYahu. It's free. Although I don't always agree with even Protestant leaders and on certain things Messianics and our leaders there, it's not on things that save us. So, keep on holding on! It won't be over but let us all pull together in Unity and let GOD act on our behalf in our personal lives with obedience to His Law and generally His Mitzvot so that we can face Him with cleaner hearts, minds and souls. He will have Mercy on us and grant us Health, safety, security, and all our needs met wherever He places us. Let the Power of GOD (His Shk-nah) be seen through our Love for one another and caring for those who aren't His. Ahavat, the Shema/Shalom Lady, Jere
Just want to make sure nobody missed this from my McKenzie: “Hi everyone!! Thank you all for taking the time to comment and those who prayed for me I am doing better now!! ❤️❤️” Now this from me: From the bottom of our hearts, we are deeply grateful for all those who prayed for our family and/or sent words of encouragement to both McKenzie & Alexa. Between the epileptic seizures and the autistic meltdowns (which I have to say, Ethan is getting better,BTW 😃), the stress of never knowing what’s going to happen (physically or emotionally) from day to day, year after year is enough to wear the toughest adults down, but these two Lovely Young Ladies handle it like the Super Troops that they are!! They NEVER lash out at each other, or assign fault with anyone, including the Father, they strive to do their best with their chores and schoolwork and are saddened when they feel they are struggling to keep up sometimes... they are honoring to their parents and everyone around them (seriously, it’s EVERYONE - I am NOT exaggerating)... they are SO LOVING and SUPPORTIVE of each other - I am TRULY INSPIRED by them!! I tell them all the time that I would be a better person if I had such wonderful older sisters like them... but I can’t change the past, so I will gladly settle for being a better person as a result of having the honor of being their mom!
Shalom to my Dear Family! For those of you who don’t know us very well, our McKenzie, who used to be on the Dance Team between the ages of 6 - 11 had to stop when she was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2015. We’ve had to step back from the congregation since 2016 due to the abundance of seizures she was having. Then, we were quite overwhelmed when we were told our son, Ethan, has Autism, as well. We have had quite the journey of learning how to help her with her healing process, and help him with behavior and communication skills. Now that we finally started feel secure enough to return to worship with the Family, the seizures have spiked again! She has been having them almost daily in spurts (2 weeks ago and again this week) and we would really appreciate two things from the Family: 1. Please pray for her and us all because this is an emotionally and physically draining disease that takes its toll on everyone in the home. 2. Please take time to send words of encouragement to McKenzie (and her sister Alexa, as well, since the seizures McKenzie experiences are violent and traumatic to witness.) McKenzie has not been able to do anything today but rest in between episodes and she’s typically really sore and SUPER SAD the day after! I would love to be able to read to her words of support during her recovery phase... and I hope and pray she will feel up to going back to worship this Shabbat. Thank you so much! Many blessings and much love! Jenn

Shabat shalom L'kulam!

We believe with complete faith that the Creator creates and guides all creatures, and that He alone made, makes, and will make everything. (Gen. 1) We believe with complete faith that the Creator is unique, and there is no uniqueness like His in any way, and that He alone is our God, Who was, Who is and Who always will be. Read more here (Deut. 6:4; Ex. 3:14) We believe with complete faith that in the beginning was the Word (Yeshua), and the Word was with God and the Word was God (Devar Adonai / Yeshua). He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him and without Him not one thing came into being. (Jn. 1:1-19; Col. 1:13-20; Rev. 19:13) We believe with complete faith that the Word became flesh (Yeshua) and lived among us for a time. We know of His glory, the glory of a Father’s only begotten Son. (Jn. 1:14) We believe with complete faith that the Father brought His Son (Yeshua) into the world through the Holy Spirit and the virgin Miriam and offered Him as the final atoning sacrifice for all mankind and raised Him from the dead. Through this faith, I acknowledge the saving grace of our God and our King. It is through His grace and not our works that we are saved. Our works will prove our faith and so shall we be judged. (Luke 1:26-38; 1Cor. 15:1-8; Rom. 11:6; Rom. 3:23-24; James 2:18,26) We believe with complete faith in the infilling of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh), and that man must be born of water and the Holy Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God. (Jn. 3:5-8) We believe with complete faith that the true believer in Messiah undergoes a life changing experience causing him to manifest both the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in his life. (Gal. 5:22) We believe with complete faith that He (Yeshua) came to fulfill the words of the prophets: “to bring Jacob back to Him (the Father), and that Israel might be gathered to Him; to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the survivors of Israel; and to be a light to the nations, that His salvation may reach to the ends of the earth”, and to bring a fullness to Torah along with a deeper understanding of His appointed times (learn more here) that causes it to be understood from the heart through the Holy Spirit. (Isa. 49:5-6; Isa. 56:1-3; Mat. 5:17-18) We believe with complete faith the words of Moses the prophet, when he said that Israel will return to the Lord their God, and obey Him with all their heart and with all their soul, then even if they are exiled to the ends of the earth, He will gather them and from there He will bring them back into the land that his ancestors possessed and that he will possess it; and He will make him more numerous and prosperous than his ancestors. (Deut. 30:1-5) We believe with complete faith that the Lord will reunite the House of Israel and the House of Judah with their companions, and will join them together under one King, Mashiach. (Ezek. 37:15-17) We believe with complete faith in the return of the Messiah as the Son of David to rule the earth from Jerusalem, and even though He may delay, nevertheless we anticipate every day that He will come. (Mat. 24:30-31; Zec. 14:4; Dan. 7:13) We believe with complete faith that the Creator rewards with good those who observe His commandments, and punishes those who violate His commandments. (Deut. 11:13-15; 10:12-13; Rev. 22:12Mat. 5:19; Mat. 12:48-50; Heb. 10:26) We believe with complete faith that there will be a resurrection of the dead whenever the wish comes from the Creator, blessed be His Name and exalted His mention forever and for all eternity. (Dan. 12:2; Jn. 11:25; 1Cor. 15; Rev. 20:11

Mission: Our mission is to be a part of the fulfillment of the words of the prophet Jeremiah, chapter 23 and shepherd the flock according to His ways. Our focus is unity within The Kingdom of God and await the day when the enmity and strife among His people is removed. Our goal is to accurately handle the Word of God and show ourselves approved (2 Timothy 2:15). In doing this, we defer to the original languages of the Scriptures, the teachings and traditions of the Sages, and history as there is much to learn from our pasts in order to properly understand the words God speaks to us through His anointed. Lastly but most important is to do all these things in through the Love of Messiah and with the guidance and help of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit). Without Love and His Spirit we are just noisy cymbals getting nowhere practicing religion. Jeremiah 23:1-4 We recommend the whole chapter ;) “Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!” declares the Lord. Therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel concerning the shepherds who are tending My people: “You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds,” declares the Lord. “Then I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply. I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the Lord.

Ki Tisa 2020 - Corona Virus Edition

[03/14/20]   Shabbat Shalom family!

[03/13/20]   Shalom a Todos,

[03/13/20]   Cancellation of Services - Effective Immediately
Shalom Everyone,
Effective immediately we are cancelling all services at Beit Yisrael (Erev Shabbat and Saturday Services) until further notice due to the COVID-19 virus. This decision is taken with lots of deliberation and a heavy heart but is necessary to ensure the protection of those in our community vulnerable to the virus.

Please continue to take all necessary precautions to safeguard you and your family from this virus and please prepare economically as discussed this past Tuesday.

We will provide resources online via our Facebook and YouTube channels and encourage you to stay home during these next few weeks.

HaShem is using this time as a wake up call to His people and this is a great opportunity to draw closer to Him and seek His wisdom.

We will update you weekly on what the next steps are.
