Sunday Service 5/3/2020 with Father Mike Genier
Please take a moment to read the latest issue of "The Praise Report". We are very proud of our graduates. Your prayers for the men who have recently graduated mean so much. Thank you for taking the time to support Open Homes Regeneration and these men. God Bless!
Hello all – In light of our Governor’s announcement that churches are considered an essential service (which they are), our services will be open to the public starting this Sunday. For those of you that feel more comfortable staying home during this crazy time, we will also be streaming the services live to anyone who has given us your email address and asked to be invited. Any one who wishes to be added, please send your email address to us in a private message. You may also go to Open Homes Fellowship on YouTube and subscribe to our channel to be notified of our live stream. We look forward to having you join us this Sunday in any way you choose. God Bless
First, we would like to say that we miss our Open Homes family and look forward to the day we can meet again as a group. We pray that day will come soon.
This week we will not be meeting in the chapel for our usual service, so we will not have a broadcast of any sort. We will be worshiping as individual house churches with each Open Homes house having its own meeting. We will be praying for you all in those meetings and ask for your prayers as well. May God bless you all and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
In light of the Coronavirus restrictions that have been requested by our local and federal authorities, we have decided to limit all Open Homes properties to the clients and leadership only. In doing that we would like to inform you that we will be suspending all bible studies and church services for the next two weeks. We will keep you informed as to how we will proceed beyond that point. Thank you for your understanding, and consideration. God Bless you all.
Open Homes Fellowship would like to thank Liberty Lodge Ministries for having all of our men join them at their beautiful church and facility. We are truly blessed to have been part of such Spirit filled worship and Word! Thanks to all the guys who worked to make this event happen!
God is doing something mighty today at Liberty Lodge. Father Mike, Pastor Dave, Tony Bullington and others that God has led here

[12/02/19] We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! We will be resuming the weekly blog next weekend. Stay warm and we are always praying for you.
Our weekly blog that Pastor Charlie blesses us with is first uploaded to the Open Homes website and then pushed to social media so more of you can be reached. It seems the Sunday Facebook post sat in limbo and was not available on our page.
So without further ado, this week's blog from Pastor Charlie. Have a wonderful week and we are praying for all of you.

Think about how different life would be if you lived every day without doubting the Lord’s love and protection. Imagine the opportunities you would take advantage of if you had no fear of failure. That’s not to say you wouldn’t fail from time to time, or even many times. But what if you weren’t afraid of what those failures could do?
Think about this for a moment, pray on it. Then read the rest of this week's blog from Pastor Charlie and see where it takes you. What a great blog this week!
Stay warm everyone. We are always praying for you.

Community and relationships can be two of the most rewarding and enjoyable parts of a believer’s life. Being involved in a church family should bring a feeling of security and acceptance to its people. As in any family, there will be struggles at times. But when godly love is the root of the relationships, they will grow stronger through the good times and the bad.

Join us on Saturday September 28th for a day of barbecue and fellowship at Open Homes! Our last date was pushed back due to the storms and it looks like this weekend will be perfect.
We eat at 2:00pm but family and friends are more than welcome to arrive early. We hope to see everyone this Saturday!
All believers know they should pray every day. It is the most basic tenet of Christian behavior. Through regular prayer we grow closer to God and learn to recognize His voice above the noise of the world. It is where we can give Him our deepest gratitude and praise, as well as seek His guidance in everything we do.
How is your prayer life going right now? This week's blog from Pastor Charlie has some great advice on our prayer life so check it out!

Do you trust God? In my experience, the most common answer to this question has been, “I do trust Him, but not as much as I should.” Have you ever asked yourself why your trust is so conditional? We trust Him with the small stuff, but when the stakes are high, fear and uncertainty replace the trust. And yet, any control we think we have is a delusion. Not trusting Him gives us permission to take matters into our own hands, which in most cases is futile. In fact, even if it looks like you’ve dealt with it, if you didn’t ask God and listen for His answer first, you’ll never know how He wanted it.

This is a crazy world. Some things we hear about on the evening news everyday sound more like the plot of a horror movie than a report of the day’s events. For Christians, this should come as no surprise. The Bible shows repeatedly how every time a society falls away from God it pays a severe price.

Political correctness has become a modern-day buzz phrase that has given us all pause at some point. It is a device the devil can easily manipulate to keep important issues from being discussed because of the fear of violating our politically correct standard. It is a double-edged sword. Yes, it might deter hateful or wrong intentioned things from being said, but it will also keep truth from being spoken.
