St. John Vianney Catholic School

From our family to all SJV teachers, assistants, school administrators and all staff thank you so much for all you do for our families and kids. All together we will beat this Convid 19 and get through this crisis. Stay safe and be well ! In a blink of an eye we will be together again, gathering in the hallways, the gym and classrooms, thanking The Lord for being a part of this beautiful community.! Go Mustangs!
I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU to our Middle School Teachers for all their hard work to get the distance learning going.....we are very fortunate to have such caring school staff.👏
As a parent, I wanted to share how impressed I am with the dual language program in PreK4! My son is already starting to add Spanish words into conversation and it’s only September. Ms. Celeste and Ms. Marlen keep me updated with newsletters and I can see the lessons in both languages correspond to support content area knowledge. Most importantly, my son tells me about school excitedly every day. “Mommy, you’re not going to believe it! Avión is airplane and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a book you need to read!” I can’t wait to see how my child grows this year! Thanks, PreK4 Team!
Visited our twin church today ☺️ Have a blessed Sunday!

Members of the University of North Georgia SINGERS and LE BELLE VOCI will be presenting sacred and secular selections during the afternoon concert. Should be wonderful - hope to see you there!!!

Celebrating over 50 years of excellent Catholic education.

St. John Vianney School, inspired by the pastoral, "To Teach as Jesus Did," has as its purpose the formation of its students into creative, Christ-centered persons. We strive to provide a Christian environment where the faith of our students can become living, conscious and active. Our school affords the fullest and best opportunity to realize the threefold purposes of Christian education; that is, to teach doctrine, to build Christian community and to provide service to others. Our school places a high priority on the formation of Catholic leaders who are prepared to be active, contributing citizens in a global society. While recognizing the parents as the primary educators of their children, and in cooperation with them, we, the educators, strive to empower each child to become a fully-integrated successful human being. This goal is accomplished by providing an education that ensures the harmonious development of each student's spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical growth.

Mission: St. John Vianney Catholic School is a multi-cultural, dual language community, grounded in spiritual formation and academic excellence, dedicated to extending Catholic hospitality as servants of the Gospel.

By recording the plants’ measurements and other data, they are using principles from science, technology, engineering and math to test their hypothesis. And they’re enjoying God’s amazing outdoor classroom in the process!
