To equip and to train pastors, evangelists, and leaders
Blake Lorenz Evangelistic Ministries was birthed out of a Divine call to prepare the world for the return of Jesus Christ. God's heart is that none should perish. Our Lord gave all He had by dieing on the cross to save the souls of men. Jesus then commanded us to give all we have to make disciples of all nations, that by going into the world, men might hear the good news of Jesus Christ, fall in love with the Master, be baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire, and take up their cross to follow Jesus. From the night I met Jesus thirty years ago to the day I heard the Spirit say to me, "The return of Jesus Christ is imminent," my desire has been to tell the story of Jesus. God placed in my heart a burning passion for Jesus and for all men to come to know this same Jesus Who saved me from the hopelessness of my sin and gave me a new life and love in Him. Blake Lorenz Evangelistic Ministries is about fulfilling God's heart to awaken the nations, the church and Israel to the return of His Son, that we would welcome Him as KING of kings and LORD of lords, and love Him in faithful service. We of Global Harvest believe we have been called of God to boldly proclaim this mystery of the Gospel. In that commission we pledge our love and loyalty to Jesus Christ in absolute devotion to follow Him wherever He sends us to the glory of God.
We believe in the full salvation of men as taught in the Bible. We believe we are to be led by the Spirit and the Word in loving obedience to Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus came to set men free from the bondage of sin and death to a life of holiness and love in the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus died for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven and is coming again. Salvation is a free gift from God by the blood of Jesus Christ. All must repent and believe in Jesus Christ to enter into covenant with the God of the Bible. We believe God will raise up like minded men and women to join us in preparing the world for Jesus' return. Paraphrasing Jesus,"...be sober, watchful, be faithful as obedient servants, live in intimacy with Me, and use all your resources to build My kingdom before I return..." The time is now. The urgency presses on our hearts. Jesus says He is coming quickly to reward everyone according to his works. We not only want to be ready, but we desire to labor for Him to prepare for His return. "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose." Jim Elliot, missionary and martyr. Blake Lorenz Evangelistic Ministries' vision is to make God's Name great through His Son, Jesus Christ, by awakening the nations, the church and Israel to the imminent return of Jesus Christ. We join the countless others whom God has raised up for such a time as this to prepare for the coming of the KING. The love and indescribable joy of partnering with Jesus in making Him known is worth it all.
Mission: Our vision is to make God’s Name great through His Son, Jesus Christ, by awakening the nations, the church and Israel to the imminent return of Jesus Christ

Dear Covenant Family
As we study the wells of salvation, it is always good to go back to the Book of Beginnings, Genesis, to discover the heart of the truth we are attempting to grasp. Genesis teaches us Who God is and who we are in relationship to God. One of the first things we discover is that God is a God of blessing. One of His first creative acts is to bless Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply.
Therefore, we determine that God in our salvation seeks to bless us with His covenant favor. We are called to drink from the well of Blessings. Remember, Abraham named his wells and so did Isaac name the wells he redug and named them the names of his father.
To be blessed by God in the covenant is to have the curse of sin and death removed. The first blessing or promise of God is to give us the Holy Spirit, to give us Himself as the Spirit is God. He comes to live within us and begins to sanctify us by renewing our minds in holiness and righteousness. The Spirit, after it regenerates us to life, starts to transform us and shape us into who Jesus is.
When we study the word blessing we gain a picture of what God values as His priorities for us. Those who are faithful, loving, and loyal are blessed with His precious gifts. He rewards those who imitate Him in their character and lifestyle as Jesus teaches in the Sermon on the Mount.
"Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn (enter into the suffering of others) for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful for they will receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the sons of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
God wants us to drink deeply everyday of the well of Blessing. His desire is to bless us with His favor and use us to be His Salt to the earth and His Light to the world. "Let your Light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
The purpose of God’s blessings is to give us joy, but it is also to bless God and to bless others. God created us to prosper in every area of our lives, but especially in our character and lifestyle, which will then impact the world for His glory. That none should perish, but come into the blessing of eternal life with Him.
We so often have a warped view of God that He would rather curse us and pour out His wrath on us. No, He declares He wants to bless us. The curse and wrath of God is for those who reject Him and His covenant love. Even they can experience His blessings for God, “He makes His sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.”
When we believe we are blessed by God, when we know we are blessed, when we feel blessed…we will find it much easier to bless others with the joy of God in giving. "For it is more blessed to give than receive.” To be blessed liberates us to love and to share the blessings of God without fear or selfishness. We can God trust to supply all of our needs.
When you read and study the word, drink deeply of God’s living waters of revelation and knowledge concerning the blessings of God. You will be amazed at how much God wants to bless you and use you for His glory. That is the vision for 2019 to go Deeper and Wider. In Christ’s love, Evangelist Blake.
Dear Covenant Family,
Since my trip to Cuba, I have been burdened for the people in Cuba. The opportunity God has given us to help plant 10 churches for only $300 a month for a year weighs heavily on my heart and mind. This is our calling as body of believers. Blake Lorenz Family Ministries and Encounter was established to spread the Gospel to the nations, to Israel, and to the church. There is no better way to do this, then to plant churches.
To establish a church has an eternal impact for God. It is what the early believers did and what the people of Jesus have always done, because it is His vision to make disciples of all nations. This is His strategy of how to make disciples that last and multiply.
The question I am confronted with is this: as a follower of Jesus what am I prepared to do about it? I pray that burden becomes our burden: what are we prepared to do as followers of Jesus this year?
Are we truly all in for Jesus? Do we trust Him to supply the finances for such an endeavor? I have to believe God will supply all of our needs according to His riches and glory.
Will we step out of the boat as Peter did? Will we keep our eyes on Jesus when we feel we will sink? You know, Peter walked on water. That is the call of God for all of us. Think of the joy to see 10 churches planted in the district around Puerto Padre! It can help spark a spiritual revolution and have an eternal impact on their community.
A former soldier who had lost his way after serving in Iraq was living a rather meaningless life, when he got caught up in a murder and an international arms deal. He just wanted to report it to the British government and stay out of it. He was a night manager at a hotel. In his heart he knew he had to act to do more than just report the crime, but he held back.
The agent dealing with him knew this man was troubled by his inaction. So, she challenged him by saying what are you prepared to do about it? Will you act or go back to a life of non existence? He chose to act. It cost him everything. He almost lost his life, but he was alive again with hope and meaning and purpose.
I have to believe this year, 2019, is a crucial year for me and you to go deeper in our faith with Jesus, to act with even greater sacrifice and purpose for His eternal kingdom. What are we prepared to do about it? I have to say, I am willing to be all in for Jesus.
If we respond I am willing, God will do the rest through us. An opportunity like this does not come along often. If we are faithful in a little, He will give us more. The church in Cuba has the trained leaders. They have the most awesome worship leader. They are ready to act. Will we join them? I am. Let this be the beginning of a great friendship that will have eternal impact for Jesus.
Love, Evangelist Blake.
P.S. The Blake Lorenz Evangelism Ministry Board has approved a budget of $28,000 for 2019. $3600 is just a little more than 10% of that budget. We can do this for Jesus and by His Spirit it will happen!
Dear Covenant Family,
As I sat on the runway in Holguin, Cuba, I kept singing in my head, “I’ll be home for Christmas. You can count on me…” The large crusade that was scheduled for December 25 was moved to Sunday night because of other activities. Now I could get home for Christmas, which was a joy!
This Cuba evangelistic outreach was as powerful as ever. We saw people saved, healed, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and given dreams and vision for ministry. Paul and Debbie Martin did a super job as always teaching on spiritual warfare and working with the children. They also prayed for many people and saw them healed and baptized in the Holy Spirit as well as saved. We make a great team for Jesus!
One of our most interesting excursions happened Saturday morning. We were going out into the country where no one ever visits. Beyond the Great Commission as we joke. We sat in a trailer hitched to a tractor for a two and half hour ride mostly on unpaved roads full of ruts and holes. It was a miracle our backs and necks did not get jolted out of joint. It was as tough a journey as I have ever had even in the Congo and Zambia on the way to Malawi.
Yet, it was a beautiful time to see the country and share with each other as we traveled. It is always amazing to me, that when we arrive we can go right into ministry, as Paul and Debbie did, and see the power of God work. We finished that day with a sumptuous meal and then the two and half hour ride back to Puerto Padre. We then rested up for the long Sunday of ministry that awaited us.
Sunday, we went to Las Tunas in the morning for a service. Paul and Debbie did Sunday School with the children while I preached in the service. Seven people came forward for salvation, while over a hundred prayed to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
During our healing time, one woman was empty of all joy. We prayed for her and she went down in the Spirit. When she came up her hands were trembling. She said she had never felt the presence of God like this. She had a broad small on her face as her joy had returned to her soul!
On the way back to Puerto Padre it began to rain and continued all afternoon into the night. This evening was to be the big crusade, expecting up to 10,000 people. With the rain, that expectation dwindled to 100 as they have few cars and people could not walk in the downpour. Those that had arranged trucks to bring them could not come because of the danger on the roads, plus the people riding in them would be in open trucks, exposed to the weather.
We prayed and prayed for the rain to cease, but it did not. Pastor Alexis said in all of his 27 years of ministry he had never seen anything like it. Since we had rented all the equipment and paid out so much money, we decided to go forward with crusade. By the time we started, Pastor Alexis told me 800-1000 people were crammed into the pavilion. I thought there were maybe 400-500, but the count really does not matter.
What did matter was the worship was so intense, deep, and powerful. God’s presence filled the atmosphere. I could sense His glory as I preached. God displayed His love and glory for all to know. Almost everyone prayed to be baptized in the Holy Spirit with the goal to take Cuba for Christ. Many, many were healed. Lots of tears flowed in praise. Three people give their lives to Christ. We were all overwhelmed by what God did.
This moved Pastor Alexis to say we must try again in the Fall to see 10,000 gather to worship Jesus and spark revival in the land. We will believe for God’s Hand to work.
Several opportunities have arisen out of our outreach. The host church for the crusade is an independent missionary church and they have 10 missionaries ready to start 10 churches. The pastor asked if we would sponsor these missionaries for $30 per church plant, per month. So for $300 a month and $3600 for the year we could help plant ten new churches. I am believing God will lead us to do this for one year.
This is who we are and what we are called to do. Please pray about how you can sponsor a church plant for a year. On January 13 we will begin our faith promise mission pledges for 2019. Let us pray and fast to see what great things God will do through us. Believe and ask God to do something special in this new year! I am willing is all we have to say to God.
The other wonderful opportunity will take place through Tim Doyle, through us, to Cuba in sponsoring a soccer outreach in Havana and Puerto Padre. Tim has 200 uniforms to help launch a league through the church in Cuba. We believe this can grow into something special and become a lifetime outreach into the families of Cuba. Please keep this in prayer as it will begin January 16, 2019.
Thank you for all the prayers and support. God is doing end time prophesies through you. Where I go, you go!
Love, Evangelist Blake.
P.S. I pray you had a very Merry Christmas and now a powerful new year for Jesus!

FROM SHEPHERD TO KING
He was the runt of the litter. The youngest of eight boys, he was mocked by his brothers and was not held in high esteem. He wandered the hillsides of Bethlehem looking after his father's sheep. In his time alone with the sheep, he talked with God. He became intimate with the Creator of the universe.
When God sent the prophet Samuel to anoint a new king over Israel to replace the rebellious Saul, he went to the house of Jesse. Samuel was looking for a mighty man that had impressive features and credentials. Upon seeing Eliab, the oldest son of Jesse, he said, "Surely, the Lord's anointed is before me."
But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."
So, after examining the first seven sons of Jesse, Samuel realized "the Lord had not chosen any of these."
And Samuel said to Jesse, "Are all the young men here?" Then he said, "There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep."
Samuel commanded David to be brought before him. "He was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good looking. And the Lord said, "Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!"
God had looked into David's soul and saw a man after His own heart. This began the journey of a poor shepherd boy to king of Israel. He would lead his nation into greatness.
It was no easy path. He would be tested, persecuted almost to death, become a raider, feign madness, and finally come to the throne after years in the wilderness. Yet, he never lost his love for God. The Master crafted him into one of the most historic figures the world has ever known.
God took him as Jesus took Peter and made him into a world changer. In David would be the Seed of the Messiah. From David, the ultimate world changer would walk the earth, die for our sins, rise from the dead, and will soon return to rule over all the nations of the earth.
If God can do that in a shepherd boy, He can do it in all of us. For we are all created in God's image. God has to cut us and polish us into the diamonds we were made to be. We are not lumps of coal, with little value. We are priceless diamonds ready to be unearthed to shine for the glory of God.
The potential for greatness is in each of us, as it was in David and Peter. May we hear the Master's voice say to us:
This is My destiny for you. I will give you the nations of the earth. For you will be meek and teachable, humble and bold, loving and true, inspired to love Me and do the will of God. You will hear My voice and follow Me. I will crucify your flesh and raise you up in power, so you will see with My eyes and do even more than I did while I walked the earth. This is for you, if you will follow Me and love Me with all of your heart. I will teach you to become great in the eyes of
THE ULTIMATE WORLD CHANGER
A dark cloud hangs over the USA and the world. The spirit of antichrist has permeated into every level of civilization. From the White House to London to Moscow to Beijing to ISIS to Jerusalem to Cairo to Mecca. The mark of the antichrist covenant can be seen in the lives of our world leaders, scientists, media, judges, social engineers, educators, priests and pastors.
They are about their father's business: to implement the ways of Satan in the guise of man's ways, 666. This is the age of man that rejects the laws of God for our own laws. It is the world system of Babylon enveloping the planet. The deception is so illusive that only those in the Spirit of Christ can see, but even the elect of Christ can be deceived.
Everyone is infected with the antichrist spirit except those who bare the mark of Christ, but even they battle the deceit and deception. The hooks of the Devil tear into our flesh and pull us back into Babylon whenever we think we are free.
Do not fear. Jesus Christ has overcome the world. He is the Ultimate world changer. He is preparing the world for His return. The clash of values against His truth increases. The persecution and rejection in the guise of tolerance threatens those who are of the Spirit of Christ. The days ahead are full of tribulation.
Do not fear. Jesus Christ is triumphant. In one day this massive system of Babylon will fall. The world will weep as the saints rejoice in the victory of the Lamb. He will come in the clouds of glory with His angels to reap the harvest that has been sown since the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden.
Those who have rejected Him will come to the final judgment and the lake of fire. Those who have witnessed to His salvation and glory will be raised in power with resurrected bodies and eternal life.
Again, do not fear. There has never been such a time as this when evil is called good and good is called evil. It must multiply across the globe to move the saints to prayer and to prepare for Jesus' Second Coming.
Jesus is the shaper of human history. There are no competitors to the throne of glory in which He will rule the earth. No one can even compare with Jesus Christ. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He will reign in truth and justice and righteousness forever. All that is unholy will be banished from the earth. He will be the Holy One, the Lord of Hosts, worshiped and adored by His angels, by sanctified humanity, and every creature in heaven and earth.
He invites you to join Him in His Father's plan of restoration and redemption, to prepare the way for Jesus to make all things new. May we sing the new song of the Lamb for all the heavens to hear and to worship the Lion of Judah Who sits at the right Hand of the Father. For He alone is worthy, Jesus Christ, the One Who comes to change the world.
