1 Corinthians Reading Plan — Summit Church 06/28/2021

1 Corinthians Reading Plan — Summit Church

Join us in a five-week reading plan to study I Corinthians!

How do we know what’s right and wrong today? How can we determine what God wants us to do today? I Corinthians can help! Not as a series of should and should-nots, but timely wisdom to all of us that we should choose how to act based on love for our neighbors and our God.

1 Corinthians Reading Plan — Summit Church On Paul’s second missionary journey with his companions Timothy and Silas, the trio makes it all the way to Corinth (a little over 50 miles west of Athens in modern-day Greece). Corinth was a bustling seaport city, and so made for an excellent strategic choice as a location for planting a church. ...

What happens when wayward thoughts turn to unrestrained actions? What happens when selfish and stubborn ideas mix? What happens when we forget what’s truly important?

Distractions are found all around. When we get distracted, our motivations ebb and flow with our attention. So what are we to ponder after learning how Jesus’ life changes everything? We can search for clear cut answers left and right, but what we really need is a true center to guide us.

When we allow God's love to reframe our reference, it becomes easier to move with direction. The gospel opens up a new and lovely reality, where we can live free only because of Christ.

Join us for a sermon series based in I Corinthians, June 27th - July 25th.
