John the Baptist was established on April 18, 1896. We seek to serve the community as a place of hope and love, and to reach out and touch those who need the enabling, empowering, healing and forgiving grace of God. We are a community united in a love of Christ, with a commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. SCHEDULE OF SERVICES Holy Eucharist – Sunday – 7:30 AM & 10:00 AM 5th Sunday – One Service at 10:00 AM

Mission: To be a church that loves and cares for people, and that has a passion to make Christ known by serving and glorifying Christ in the community which we have been called to serve.

"Heavenly Father, keep me on the right path today. May I be known as a woman who walks with You. Lead me. Guide me. Show me Your way. Father, don’t let me run ahead of You or lag behind You; instead, encourage and enable me to walk steadily in tandem with You. May Your Spirit guide me to walk in the way You have commanded me so I may live, prosper and prolong my days. Hem me in so I will not veer to the right or the left, but keep my feet on the path You have marked out for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen."

Happy Thanksgiving from The Order of the Daughters of the King®!

Place within us, O God, a quiet gratitude that raises whispered thanks for simple things ~ the first rays of awakening dawn, the sound of the day stirring the heart with hope, the love of the first person we see. Keep us enfolded in Your grace as we offer our raised hands in prayer and service to one another in love. Amen.

The Life of Joseph Part 8

Thankful for our Krisita Jackson

God of faithful surprises, throughout the ages You have made known Your love and power in unexpected ways and places: May we daily perceive the joy and wonder of Your abiding presence and offer our lives in gratitude.

Holy God, Mother and Father, You have nurtured us as Your Daughters: May we continue to grow in the knowledge of Your love and power and persevere in doing what You will have us do.

Jesus, our brother, You show us how to live and love in the midst of uncertainty and division in this world: May we always seek to shine Your light in ever crevasse and every nook around the world.
