In May of 1993, YOUTH 2OOO first came to New York. Since that time, YOUTH 2OOO NY has held monthly prayer festivals and has touched the lives of thousands
To mark Pope Benedict's Year of Faith and our own 20th anniversary, YOUTH 2OOO New York brings you Face 2 Face. It's the same Eucharistic youth event as always, only now with a "face lift": a new look, a new sound, new team partners, new energy and a new optional one-day program in addition to our familiar weekend retreat – and you're invited! Hoping to see you sometime soon… Face 2 Face.

gofundme.com Angela was a spiritual mother to many and dedicated her life to service with the Lord. She went into the emergency room for pain on Feb. 10th, and just 3 short weeks later she was called home to heaven. So many have asked how they can help or contribute. If you would like to help defray the cost...
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angela Scannapieco. She went home to the Fathers house this morning, please pray for the repose of her soul and pray for consolation on her family. May Jesus Christ be praised, now and forever! 🙌🏼

How do you receive Christ in the Eucharist? With love? With indifference? Today receive Him with love and let Love himself transform your heart.

"One of the holiest works, one of the best exercises of piety that we can practice in this world is to offer sacrifices, alms, and prayers for the dead." - St. Augustine #allsoulsday #staugustine
"We need saints without cassocks, without veils - we need saints with jeans and tennis shoes. We need saints that go to the movies that listen to music, that hang out with their friends. We need saints that place God in first place ahead of succeeding in any career. We need saints that look for time to pray every day and who know how to be in love with purity, chastity and all good things. We need saints - saints for the 21st century with a spirituality appropriate to our new time. We need saints that have a commitment to helping the poor and to make the needed social change. We need saints to live in the world, to sanctify the world and to not be afraid of living in the world by their presence in it. We need saints that drink Coca-Cola, that eat hot dogs, that surf the internet and that listen to their iPods. We need saints that love the Eucharist, that are not afraid or embarrassed to eat a pizza or drink a beer with their friends. We need saints who love the movies, dance, sports, theater. We need saints that are open sociable normal happy companions. we need saints who are in this world and who know how to enjoy the best in this world without being callous or mundane. We need saints."

HAPPY FEAST OF ST. JOHN PAUL THE GREAT!
"It is Jesus you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; He is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is He who provokes you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise; it is He who urges you to shed the masks of a false life; it is He who reads in your hearts your most genuine choices, the choices that others try to stifle.
It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be grounded down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.” - St. John Paul II #Catholic #stjohnpaulii

"We’re Catholics before we’re Democrats. We’re Catholics before we’re Republicans. We’re even Catholics before we’re Americans, because we know that God has a demand on us prior to any government demand on us. And this has been the story of the martyrs through the centuries."
