Pastor Malcolm Byrd of Mother AME Zion Church serves as guest teacher at the Oasis Fellowship, a faith formation group led by Pastor Jason Thompson. During this session, the Oasis Fellowship explores Romans chapter 6 as a part of series on "Forgiveness" through the Epistle to the Romans and the following essential questions:

SHIFTING –
As you look back over your life, where have you experienced the most shifting in your thinking and the way you approach life spiritually? How have those shifts (the good ones and the ones that caused the most pain) solidified what is central in your spiritual journey, and those that you want to perpetuate and deepen?

SIFTING –
What practices, behaviors, or beliefs seem no longer fitting to the person God is stretching you to become? What areas of your life is God’s Spirit urging you to discard, retire, and leave behind during the sifting process?

LIFTING –
How could God be elevating you at the juncture in time to exert some influence in your spheres of influence? How might you be challenged to contribute to the spiritual needs of others who need a kernel of hope and a path forward? In what ways are you well-suited and willing for God to lift you as an exemplar of what’s possible through God?

Jones Tabernacle A.M.E Zion Church, Indianapolis celebrated Connection Day with Greater Walters, Chicago today. Happy 224th Anniversary Mother Zion
CENSUS DEADLINE!
So many memories of going to this church as a child with my beloved Aunt Helen Marie Pride in the 60's. I remember here cooking those Sunday dinners and how every one would fellowship while enjoying her cooking.❤️❤️
Will there be service Christmas eve or morning?

Mother A.M.E. Zion Church is the Mother Church of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church denomination. Founded in 1796 in NYC, Mother Zion is the oldest African American Church in the State of New York.
