Vice President Mike Pence spoke movingly today in the Israeli Knesset about the Jewish people's Biblical connection to the land of Israel. Watch the reaction as he says the Shehecheyanu blessing in Hebrew!

The Staten Island Jewish Heritage Network was established in September of 2008 by Rabbi Shlomo & Mrs. Chana Uzhansky to meet the cultural, educational, and spiritual needs of the rapidly growing local Russian-Jewish community. What started as a modest Sunday program graciously hosted by the New Springville Jewish Center, quickly evolved into a full-time day school and a vibrant community of young families who unite to celebrate Shabbat and Jewish Holidays, as well as attend a plethora of classes and lectures about Jewish life and Judaism.

All functions are permeated with an atmosphere of acceptance, and much effort is dedicated to conducting the engagements in a user-friendly manner digestible by people of all religious backgrounds. Oh.. and boy, do we have fun! Come and see for yourself:) Check out! Home Page
