21 Days of loving your man on Purpose, and with a Plan.
PROJECT 21: Sunday, February 12
Let him win the media war today.
PROJECT 20: Saturday, February 11
Leave a cute and flirty note for your husband to find. Keep it simple today. Put a Post-it in his briefcase, on his dashboard, in his wallet, anywhere that he will find it. Make it fun, make it flirty, but just make sure he is the one who will find it. Wink-wink.
PROJECT 19: Friday, February 10
Dear God, remind me to treat my husband with more care and honor than any guest who comes into our home.
Give your home the bed-and-breakfast touch by doing something a little extra special that both you and your husband will enjoy.
PROJECT 18: Thursday, February 9
Take him out to his favorite restaurant or make plans in the near future.
PROJECT 17: Wednesday, February 8
Give your husband some time off. Just give him a chance to relax. Be creative. You know your husband.
PROJECT 16: Tuesday, February 7
In some small way today, let your husband know that you’re attracted to him physically. One of the things your man is looking for is affirmation. If he knows that you find him desirable and attractive, it goes a long way in giving him confidence in other areas of his life.
PROJECT 15: Monday, February 6
Get rid of one item of clothing you know your husband is not in love with. If it’s a favorite that you’ll have a hard time parting with, go ahead and purchase a replacement you know your guy will like.
PROJECT 14: Sunday, February 5
Make your husband something special in the kitchen (reservations don’t count).
PROJECT 13: Saturday, February 4
Set up reminders during your day to think and pray for your husband. Let him know sometime during the day that he has been on your mind.
PROJECT 12: Friday, February 3
Tell your husband something about him that you think is simply great.
Project 11: Thursday, February 2
Today’s focus is to remove one stressor from his life. Figure out what makes him feel a tiny sense of defeat each day and plan to remove it.
PROJECT 10: Wednesday February 1, 2017
Wear something just for him. You can go buy something or pick an item you already own. He doesn’t need to know what you’re doing—you know, and that will change a little something inside of you.
PROJECT 9:Tuesday, January 31
Today, it’s helping your husband to get the job done. Help him get one of his regular duties off his list, or come alongside him and assist in a project that he enjoys. Does your husband know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that you are in his corner?
PROJECT 8: Monday, January 30
Make it food and make the location fun. Really, that’s all there is to this project. It’s food again, but this time it’s all about setting.
PROJECT 7: Sunday, January 29
Do one thing to look nice just for your guy. It can be clothing, hair, or makeup.
PROJECT 6: Saturday, January 28
Do something to help your husband enjoy physical touch. Find something that will help him relax. New pillows, massage lotions, a back rub…your choice. Make it something that both of you will enjoy.
PROJECT 5: Friday, January 27
Send a flirty text or e-mail to your husband.
PROJECT 4: Thursday, January 26
Get a food treat for your husband that he’s not required to share with you or any other family member.
PROJECT 3: Wednesday, January 25
Say something nice about your husband to someone else. Make sure you tell him what you said, and to whom.
Project 2, Tuesday, January 24
Initiate an activity that your husband used to love. Whether it’s his favorite hobby, sport, or pastime, it’s time for you to get involved. Be his buddy today.
Not all husbands are the same. Be creative. Think outside the box. We've got this, Ladies!
PROJECT 1: Monday, January, 23, 2017
Focus on your husband’s transitional 30 minutes today. Would he like to be left alone to rest and rejuvenate, or does he want some undivided attention from you? The point is to let your husband know you value what he does out in the world, and that he has a safe, loving place to come home to and get refreshed at the end of the day.
