NOLB Family and Friends,
Who would have ever dreamed that it is nine months later and we are still not holding services at No One Left Behind Church. It will still be awhile longer before we come together again, but with that wait we will be reuniting at NOLB with a live on campus pastor! This is truly answered pray from above.
With that change we will also be moving our weekly services to Thursday nights @ 6:30 pm.
We have other changes that we will share over the coming weeks, as well as the name of our new pastor.
We will relaunch on Resurrection Sunday, April [email protected] 10:30am.
We will then move to our evening services on the following Thursday, April 15th.
Peque Antonio Martinez will begin sharing the Word with those of you who are ready to get back now.
We will give you a day and time next week.
Blessings to you all

It’s Resurrection Sunday!!!!
Easter is all about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and so we celebrate who He is and what He did! When Jesus’ life ended, our striving, our performance, our attempts to measure up ended.
It is finished! 1John 3:16 Romans 5:8
We are all looking for a better life, but sometimes we can look in all the wrong places. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. John 14:6 Jesus is calling you to look at Him and not the storms.

It’s Time for a Resurrection Experience Day 5
The death, burial, & resurrection of Jesus was the greatest moment in history. The supernatural love of God changed everything, but more importantly – It. Changed. You.
And now, we’re the stewards of the story. The carriers of hope. The power of the resurrection is meant to flow through our lives into the world around us. Imagine if someone you loved physically died, but then was restored back to life. You would tell everyone you know that story, wouldn’t you? Well, guess what? That’s YOUR story. You were spiritually dead & now, in Jesus, you have raised to new life. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you. Just like the women who first saw the resurrected Jesus couldn’t help but tell everyone that Hope was alive, our lives should point people to the Living Hope. One of the greatest ways we honor Jesus is simply by telling people who He is & what He’s done for US.
It’s time to tell the world!
PREPARE – Go outside, take a deep breath & remind yourself that Jesus is holding it ALL together.
DISCOVER – Read Matthew 28. What does the “Resurrected Jesus” ask us to do with our resurrected lives? What does that practically look like in your life?
RESPOND – Grab a journal & a pen. Take a few mins and write out your resurrection story. What’s your death to life story? Where did Jesus find you? How did He capture your heart? When did you start receiving His grace? How has that changed you? Who have you become? What did your life look like without Jesus? What does it now look like with Jesus? Take your time – this is your story! (Bonus – at some point, courageously share your WHOLE story with someone else!)
DECLARE – “Thank you Jesus for resurrecting me & giving me a brand new life!”
SHARE – Share on social media what you’ve experienced.
INVITE – Finally, take a moment right now to text, call, or reach out to at least one person & invite them to join us this Sunday for Easter services online. The good news is, with church online you can invite anyone anywhere in the world. Remember, resurrected people can’t keep the resurrection to themselves!
Jesus, we will tell the world!
It’s Time for a Resurrection Experience Day 4
Give thanks. Gratitude. Worship. Praise. Regardless of which of those words you prefer, they all have the same heart – responding to the goodness of God in our lives. In a world of entitlement, complaining, & grumbling – gratitude feels more countercultural than ever before, but it’s also more important than ever before. While giving thanks may not be natural or normal, it’s part of the resurrected life. When we choose to give thanks to God for His goodness, His grace, & His kindness, we start to arise from the circumstances around us. Gratitude helps us shift our perspective from what’s wrong with us, to what’s right with God. From what the world is doing to us, to what God is doing for us. Gratitude changes us! It reminds us that God is good & every good thing in our life comes from Him. And because of that truth, we know there is always more to celebrate than to complain about. There is always more to be grateful for than to grumble about. And, there are always more reasons to worship than to worry.
So let’s take a few minutes & allow gratitude to shift the atmosphere of our life.
PREPARE – Find a place where you can turn it up & then tell God you’re ready to meet with Him.
DISCOVER – Read Philippians 2:1-11 & Colossians 1:15-23. What do these verses show you about the goodness of Jesus?
RESPOND – Turn up Valley Creek worship song, “The One”. lnkfi.re/VCCTheOne Listen & sing along (hey, if you can sing your favorite Beatles, U2, Bieber, or Garth songs when you’re by yourself, why can’t you sing about Jesus 😀). As the song finishes, start thanking God out loud, for all the good things He has done for you. Thank Him for all the things He has given you. For all the ways He has blessed you. Thank Him for your family, freedom, church, life, future, & for this experience. Just go for it!
DECLARE – Now declare out loud, “Thank you God that you always have been, & always will be, good to ME.” Now do it again.
SHARE – Share something you are grateful for on social media. Now reach out to one person in your life & tell them why you are thankful for them!
Jesus, today we thank you for EVERYTHING!
It’s Time for a Resurrection Experience Day 3
Grace. It changes everything. It’s more than just forgiveness – it’s the complete transformation of our identity. In Jesus, we have been resurrected – or in other words, born again. We are now a new creation with a completely new nature. We are no longer defined by what we do, what we did, or what others have done to us. We are now defined by what Jesus has done for us. We aren’t who the world says we are. We aren’t who we say we are. We aren’t our performance, looks, achievements, failures, or sins – we are who God says we are. Grace includes us in Christ, and everything that is true of Him is now true of us. As He is, so we are. We didn’t earn it. We don’t deserve it. But we can choose to receive it. So, let’s stop living down to who we WERE and start living up to who we now ARE!
Ok, ready? Today is gonna be the best day yet! Remember, this is all about turning your heart to Jesus. It’s choosing to pursue Him by faith regardless of what you think or feel is happening.
God is moving & You👏Are👏Growing👏!
PREPARE – Change it up and find a different quiet place today. Close your eyes, open your hands, & invite the Holy Spirit to fill you. “Holy Spirit, I invite you to fill me fresh.” Then, starting with your feet, picture His presence filling you up. Feel Him filling your feet, then your legs. Then, filling up your belly. Feel His presence in your chest, your arms, & then your face & head – overflowing your whole body! Feel His presence in you & upon you.
DISCOVER – Read Romans 8. Where do you see the grace of Jesus at work in your life? How has that grace changed you?
RESPOND – Now grab a journal or a piece of paper. At the top write, “In Jesus” & then write these identity statements. I am loved. I am forgiven. I am free. I am wanted. I am chosen. I am righteous. I am blessed. I am set apart. I am the Father’s beloved son/daughter. Then ask God to give you one more. I am _________!
DECLARE – Stand up & declare each of these statements out loud. Now, do it again like you mean it!
SHARE – Share what you discovered or experienced on social media.
Jesus, today we receive your grace!
TUESDAY – CONFESS & REPENT
It’s Time for a Resurrection Experience Day 2
(If you didn’t do Day 1, no problem – start today!)
Confession & Repentance. If we’re honest, we tend to dislike these words. But these 2 concepts are a gift from God & are the foundation of a resurrected life. They keep our heart healthy & our mind free. They keep us from going back into the darkness Jesus set us free from. Confession is simply acknowledging our sins to God. It’s choosing to admit that there are areas of our life that are not aligned with what He says is true, right, & good. Repentance is changing the way we think. It’s choosing to realign our thoughts & actions to come into agreement with God’s truth. And when we change the way we think, it changes the way we live. While confession brings things out of the darkness & into the light, repentance allows us to start walking in His light. Like a loving Father, God’s kindness empowers us to confess & repent so that we can live free in a world that’s trying to keep us in darkness. No matter how far our hearts may drift, a resurrected life is never out of reach.
Let’s do this! Take at least 10 mins & go through these steps:
PREPARE – Find a quiet place & listen to Valley Creek’s worship song “Behold.” Allow those words to wash over your heart & turn your attention to Jesus. You can listen to Behold here – lnkfi.re/VCCBehold
DISCOVER – Read Isaiah 53 – a declaration of what Jesus did for you on the cross. What are you discovering about who He is & what He did for you? Let the gravity of that settle in your heart.
RESPOND – In light of your discovery, take some time to confess & repent to God. Just talk to Him. Confess your sins to Jesus thanking Him for His forgiveness. Remember that, in Jesus, there is no condemnation, only grace & freedom. Then repent – change your mind & choose to believe that what God says is true about who you are, who He is, & what you were created to do.
DECLARE – As you finish praying, declare out loud, “Jesus has fully forgiven me & set me free.” Now say it again & again until you start to believe it.
SHARE – Share something you discovered or experienced on social media.
Jesus, today we confess & repent.
MONDAY – ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR NEED FOR JESUS
It’s Time for a Resurrection Experience Day 1
It’s amazing how much of our life we live without being aware of Jesus. If we’re honest, we often go through much of our daily lives without looking to Jesus for His provision, protection, or presence. And then, all of the sudden life feels like it falls apart & we quickly remember how desperately dependent we are on Him – not just for salvation, but for all of life. The beginning of a resurrection is simply acknowledging our need for Jesus. It’s only when we get to the end of ourselves that we find the beginning of life. You see, we need Jesus whether we admit it or not. Acknowledging our need for Him simply allows us to stop resisting His relentless grace & to start receiving it. There is an undeserved favor & a supernatural empowerment (a resurrection) when we choose to humble ourselves & admit that we aren’t in control of our own lives.
Today, God wants to meet you right where you are, and it all starts by acknowledging that you need Jesus! So, you ready? You got this! For the next 10 min walk through these steps:
PREPARE – Find a quiet place & remove all distractions. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, & for at least 60 seconds focus your attention on the fact that God is with you. Become aware that His Presence is with you, in you, & around you.
DISCOVER – Slowly read Ephesians 2. Take a moment and write down the answers to: What are you discovering about who Jesus is? What He did for you? And what does this now mean for your life?
RESPOND – In light of your discoveries, take a few moments & tell Jesus you need Him. Just talk to God. Out loud, acknowledge you need HIS grace, HIS mercy, HIS forgiveness, HIS healing, & HIS love. As you start to respond, humble yourself and just pour out your heart to him. “Jesus I need you…”
DECLARE – Your words shape your life, so as you finish praying, by faith declare, “Jesus I need you & I welcome you into every area of my life.”
SHARE – On social media, post something you discovered or experienced. Then, share that with someone in your life today.
Jesus, we acknowledge our need for you!
It’s time for a resurrection.
NOLB invites you to do this challenge with us over the next 5 days.
In the midst of the storm that seems to be raging all around us, I think we are all ready for some fresh hope & new life. We’re ready for the circumstances to change. For the situation to be resolved. For a breakthrough to come. And while we wait for that to happen, Jesus offers us a resurrection today!
You see, a resurrection isn’t just a one-time event - it’s a way of life. It’s a willingness to submit & surrender every area of life to Jesus for constant & continual renewal. It’s allowing His finished work to raise up every dead or dying thing in our lives (like our hearts, thoughts, attitudes, relationships, beliefs, priorities, etc.). A resurrection isn’t about God changing the circumstances – it’s about God changing US. It’s about experiencing the new life He offers regardless of the circumstance around us. And so, as we head into Easter week, we are reminded that Jesus came & laid down His life so that we might live. He died on the cross AS us & rose to new life FOR us so that we could have a resurrection life today.
Over the next 5 days I want to invite you to experience a fresh resurrection in your own life. To allow His supernatural power to raise you up in spite of the circumstances that are trying to hold you down. Each day there will be a fresh “It’s Time for a Resurrection” post with 5 really simple steps for you to walk through – Prepare-Discover-Respond-Declare-Share. Each day will only take about 10 min & will lead us into fresh hope & new life.
This experience will be as good as you make it. If you really want to get the most out of it, I want to encourage you to: 1. Engage with your whole heart - just go for it! Decide you are going to fully do each step every day regardless of how you feel. 2. Have faith - choose to believe that God is working even if you can’t see it. 3. Invite other people to do it with you - ask your friends, family, or tribe to do it with you. Their faith will build yours.
I know it hasn’t been an easy season for many of us, but remember: when things seem the darkest, hope shines its brightest!
#ItsTimeForAResurrection in Jesus’ name. -Pastor John Stickl
