Due to the increasing numbers of COVID-19 in our area, and so many of us having been around people that we aren't around on a daily basis, we have made the decision to be ONLINE ONLY THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 29TH. We plan to resume services again in person on December 6th.
Join us in the morning at 11:00 here on Facebook or YouTube.
Thankful for Jesus - Sunday, November 22nd, 2020 - #midlandcog
[11/22/20]
This morning we will gather, in one form or another, to Worship the risen Savior. With everything going on in this world and all the uncertainty, we can’t afford to take for granted this opportunity. We hope you’ll join us at 5300 Thomason Drive either in the Sanctuary, in the Parking Lot, or Online.
Sunday School begins at 10:00, Worship at 11:00. Parking Lot Broadcast is on 92.9 FM.
[11/20/20]
At the Midland Church of God we understand that there is a lot of health concerns in our community. We are constantly reviewing our best practices to ensure that we are doing everything we can to promote health and safety for those who attend Midland COG. This includes our weekly cleaning, encouraging social distancing and face masks, providing ample hand sanitizer, and offering the ability to view our services online on YouTube and here on Facebook.
This week, we have added another option. We understand the need to get out of the house and gather together, balanced with the concerns of those who have health issues that make them susceptible to COVID-19. This week we have ordered and installed a FM Transmitter. This device will allow those who want to come to church but are concerned about infection to pull into the parking lot and hear the service. Simply pull into the parking lot, park your vehicle, and tune your radio to 92.9 FM. We will have the adult Sunday School Class broadcasting at 10:00 and the service at 11:00.
As always, we are praying for our people, our community, our nation, and this world. We are praying for a cure and hope to do our part to flatten the curve.
