[06/02/21]   Prayer Request: from Diana Castillo
on behalf of her daughter Victoria and grandson. Baby Levi was born 6 weeks premature and is in the ICU at Children's Hospital in Odessa TX. He goes to sleep and then forgets to wake up and the nurses have to wake him up so he can nurse and be changed.

His mom Victoria has swelling in both her legs and in lots of pain.

So I ask that you please pray for healing for the both of them.

Claim and Pray Psalm 91 over these two and families.

[05/26/21]   India is in need of prayer not only for the Missionaries, but also for the Christians that live there today.

Read what this Christian from India has observed and written about how Covid-19 has struck their Nation.

‘Suffocating air of death’ in India leads believer to pray and serve.......... BY BELIEVER IN INDIA

Death is literally in the air. I opened the veranda door of my apartment in Delhi this week and realized the sky was grey and thick. The weather app on my phone confirmed the “hazardous” air. Then it hit me. The cremations. The non-stop burning of bodies in my city that has overflowed into parks and parking lots has the sky full of ash.

I have closed our doors and stopped hanging our clothes outside to avoid the sick smell of death-saturated smoke from consuming us.

Delhi is burning. India is burning. I am again reminded with a heavy heart that in this land of 1.4 billion people only 2% claim to know Jesus as Lord. This means that the scenes playing out before my very eyes are but a small picture of the reality that awaits almost all Indians for eternity. Helplessness. Fear. Agony. Suffering. Fires that never stop burning.

I’m part of His church in India. We are regularly going out and sharing the gospel, discipling new believers, and seeing the church grow with a confident hope that the words of Revelation 7:9 will come to pass- people from every nation, every tribe, every people and every tongue will one day be before the throne worshiping God for all eternity.

I look towards that day described in Revelation 7:9, yet today I breathe in the reality of Matthew 25:41: “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.’”

Eternity is real. Hell is real. I know that people are already entering hell at an alarming rate all around on any normal day and today is certainly not a normal day. Messages on my phone and in social media are an overwhelming barrage of neighbors and friends begging for help finding hospital beds, oxygen, medicine as India faces the world’s worst outbreak of COVID-19.

The hospitals are full. The crematoriums are full. Ambulances and hearses are unavailable leaving grief-stricken relatives to carry the dead away on their own. Families then must take a ticket and sit with the dead body in temperatures over 100 degrees waiting their turn for the funeral pyres or graveyard.

The world recently watched as millions of Hindus gathered at the Ganges River to bathe and worship during the Kumbh Mela festival, risking COVID-19 for hope of salvation. Those risks have not paid off. Their idols are silent. They do not give hope, peace or life. I read in “India Today” of a family going from hospital to hospital seeking help and they were told to “keep trying, as even God can be found if tried hard enough.” The desperate family’s tearful response was, “Magar humain toh koi bhagwan nahi mile (But we haven’t found any God).”

I could allow this spiritual reality, much like the suffocating air of death, to smother me. But, as a child of God, I am not called just to react. I’m called to battle. I’m asking you, follower of Christ, to battle with me in prayer.

God is the only One who can draw people to Himself. He is the only One who can meet the needs of India. He is the only One who can give hope, who can give life. He is the only One who can bring beauty from these ashes.

Today my pastor urged us not to waste this crisis. He asked for young men to live in the church building and be available to use the church vehicle to drive people to the hospital. He called on church members to cook meals for the sick and to deliver groceries. He encouraged us to call those we know who are lost and share the gospel. Even in lockdown when stores are closed and passes are required for travel on the roads, we are finding ways to be the church. This is not the time to sit back and binge watch Netflix or zone out on social media. This is urgent.

Ask God to raise up His church in India—even as they also suffer—that they may lift their voices to heaven in worship and intercession. Pray for believers to continue sharing the gospel, to continue making disciples. Pray for us as we continue to call people to repent and turn to the only One worthy of their worship, the only One who can save. Pray for God to call out more laborers to this land. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are so few. So very few.

Pray that God would be found by the people of India. Pray that God would turn their mourning into dancing and exchange their weeping with joy.

The most tears I shed in life was when I was pastoring. I was so heartbroken 💔 for the pain and poverty of the people, their hardness of heart, ingratitude and most of all their insensitivity to my personal needs.

It was all about them! I was so depressed and asked God to please call me home.

However God raised a praying team who believed in me. They identified with me and started praying for me and I fulfilled my ministry to the people.

Dear Prayer Partners, join me to pray for these men and women in the Frontline of Spiritual Warfare - 'the Pastors'. They are at the receiving end of attacks from family, friends, parishioners and the forces of evil 😈.

Those who are glossy and are like movie stars - the bishops, televangelists etc. are not true representations of the shepherds after GOD's heart. They are a negligible percentage of real Christian leaders. I'm not judging or condemning them. In their own way, they are fulfilling their own calling.

However, there are thousands out there in the field who have not bowed to the gods of commerce, fame and occultism.

Pray with me for those who are working with the Spirit of calling and have cast out the spirits of commerce etc.

Several of these servants of God are living in abject poverty. Many are homeless and can't send their kids to school.
Many more are in communities where they face death threats daily for the Gospel sake.

These are the shepherds the Bible talks about. They will never abandon the sheep. They are building lives for the Kingdom.

Please pray for them.
1. That they be strengthened, protected, favored and have ministry partners to run with the vision God gave them.
2. Pray for their families, finances and relationship with God.
3. Pray for their spouses and kids for God's cover of invincibility to be over them, and speak blessings over their marriages.
4. Pray restoration for those who quit already. Let the fire 🔥 reignite in them.
Thank you people of God. You will be appreciated and affirmed wherever you go, in Christ precious name.
From #theWatchman Hephzibah Christly

[04/24/21]   There is more to being a Christian than just accepting JESUS as your Savior.

GOD wants to help you change from your old life to your new life. HE wants you to study HIS WORD everyday. HE wants you to have good Christian friends to fellowship with often. (Church, Bible Study, etc.)

GOD wants you to help your neighbors who are in need. Like the homeless who need food to eat, shoes to wear, coats/jackets/blankets to stay warm. A hotel room to take a shower & have a few hours of peace, quarters to wash clothes. Folks who have lost jobs and need groceries and all the same as listed before. A listening ear, information on job openings, safe places to stay, food, clothes, words of encouragement, clean books to read & music to listen to.

GOD wants you to pray for everyone & everything: including your enemies, family, friends, people you don't know.

GOD wants you to protect those who are afraid.

HE wants you to give of your money, time, & love.

[04/17/21]   Please share with all your friends and Churches you attend to pray for this "sweet man of GOD."

As of Tuesday, April 20, Bro. Bob has been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. He has opted out of surgery and chemotherapy, a choice his Doctors has agreed with. Dad will be 90 in August 2021. He is ready to go home to be with his savior.

Instead, his Cancer team has put him on medication that cancer does not like and will help the cancer to go into remission. Dad has another Bible passage he would like for you to claim and pray over him. Psalm 91. Read it and remind GOD of the promise he has in this passage. GOD won't get mad. He will love it because you care enough about a person to read GOD's WORD and use it in prayer.

As of 3:30 this afternoon Bro. Bob got his appointment to see a Urologist on Tuesday at 3.

FYI: He is not in the hospital. Bro. Bob is at home and for the moment doing ok. Still covet your prayers.
