Are You Ready?

All of us live our lives in this fallen world, dealing with circumstances that we were never meant to deal with. God’s creation was perfect and without sin, sickness, natural disasters, war or tragedy. Sin destroyed our perfect earth and corrupted the hearts of men. The world we live in today is not what God had in mind for mankind.

As a result, we are forced to deal with the results of darkness. Whether our challenges come from evil people or destructive weather, from life threatening illnesses or genetic abnormalities, we are faced with the impact of sin in the human race.

Sadly, such challenges seem as common to believers as to unbelievers. We are often confronted with the reality of sincere believers suffering from cancer or premature death, or struggling to raise their families and make ends meet. Jobs are lost, marriages fail and some succumb to temptations of the flesh.

What resources do we have to confront life in a fallen world? Have we been left to fend for ourselves? When Paul was in despair due to a demonic presence harassing his ministry, he cried out to God on three occasions. Even Paul was not immune to the questions and frustrations that come from our fallen world. God’s response was revealing and profound.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor. 12:9)

While most traditional views of this verse would suggest that the Lord was telling Paul to just “deal with it,” what is really being said is a revelation for all of us. As we search the Scriptures for the meaning of grace we can find many revelations of what the Lord was saying. We can obviously start with the word “strength.” Strength is the ability and power of God. His grace is His strength. We can also find that God’s grace is His provision for every need.

“God is able to make all grace abound toward you, so that you, always having enough of everything, may abound to every good work.” (2 Cor. 9:8)

Grace is “enough of everything.” In other words, every situation that we face has been provided for. There is enough of God’s provision and strength to enforce the victory in our lives. The question is, are we willing to receive God’s grace or will we decide to fight our battles in our own strength?

You can tell when someone is fighting in their own strength. They are frustrated, tired, offended, emotional, or, they simply just give up. That is not God’s grace.

God’s grace includes all of His promises, all that was accomplished for us on the cross, all the power that is available in His Name, His Spirit, His Word, the better covenant, the keys of the Kingdom, the power of righteousness, the armor of God, the power of prayer, etc. His grace is sufficient, but so few embrace that provision when they need it.

Focusing on His grace now, before the storm hits, can be a huge foundation for success. The more we are prepared in His grace in the present, the more easily we will deal with the issues of life in the future. Don’t wait until you are in the midst of the problem. Search out the grace of God now, and get familiar with the abundant provision that is at your disposal. His grace is sufficient!

Mick Mooney

Jesus didn't come to build an army. On the contrary, he came to implant an truth so deep within the human heart it would have the power to end all armies.

God is Love. God has no tribe, no army. Rather, he has the world in its entirety in his hands. A humanity as a whole that he loves.

Jesus came to break the belief in tribes, to bring us into the truth of Oneness.

The walls of division we build up, defend, and justify are the very walls Jesus came to tear down. For in Christ there is no identity that divides us, whether denominational, political or social--there is just love; for in Love, we can finally live as one.

Don’t forget to feed your faith!

If you instruct the brethren in these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, NOURISHED in the words of faith… (1 Tim. 4:6)

Walking and living by faith is a daily endeavor. Faith is not a one-time event in our lives to which we look back with nostalgia. Faith is the fruit of a daily relationship with the Father through His Word. Man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Mt. 4:4) Consider the following examples of ever changing faith.

And being not WEAK in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was STRONG in faith, giving glory to God; (Rom. 4:19-20)

He that is WEAK in the faith receive, (Rom. 14:1)

Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labors; but having hope, when your faith is INCREASED, (2 Cor. 10:15)

Rooted and built up in him, and ESTABLISHED in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. (Col. 2:7)

Night and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect that which is LACKING in your faith? (1 Thess. 3:10)

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren … because that your faith GROWS EXCEEDINGLY, (2 Thess. 1:3)

Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made SHIPWRECK: (1 Tim. 1:19)

Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall DEPART from the faith, (1 Tim. 4:1)

Remember… “"If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes." (Mk. 9:23)

We could say that faith is a living thing. It is the result of hearing God on a continual basis. Don’t starve your faith. Feed on His Word, prayer, praise and the promises of God.

Bill Johnson

You were born for the impossible. It is not normal for a believer to not see impossibilities bend their knee. You were born to invade the impossible in His name. When you are willing to do what you are not qualified to do, that is when you are qualified to do it. He empowers our words to make them eternally significant. #heavencome2018 #Godisnear #Godisgood

Amen!

Name it, Claim it

Got your attention? Did you know that if you are a born again Christian, you have participated in the ‘name it, claim it’ doctrine?

"Name it, claim it" has a Biblical foundation, but packaged as a disparaging phrase it has been used to criticize a tremendous reality of the New Covenant. "Name it, claim it" simply means that everything Jesus has named in the New Covenant is ours to claim or receive by faith. God’s grace has made all of the benefits of redemption available to mankind and we are free to claim them! That begins with salvation. Jesus has 'named' justification by faith, and believers have claimed it. If you believe with your heart and confess with your mouth, you are saved. That is 'name it, claim it.'

The same is true for healing, for protection, peace, joy, provision, victory and any other reality of redemption. Those things have been 'named' by God, and we are free to 'claim' them by faith.

However, we are not free to 'name' what God has not named and then claim it. We must have a revelation of our identity, purpose, calling and giftings. Our faith can only claim that which God’s grace has provided.

When we understand the depth and breadth of our covenant with God and the ever increasing grace that is available to us, we are free to claim everything that is named in that covenant. “For all the promises of God in Him are “Yes,” and in Him “Amen,” to the glory of God through us.” (2 Cor. 1:20)

Just Ask!

Many times we doubt God’s willingness to meet our needs or give us the desires of our hearts. We call our fear ‘contentment’ and think that our Father is just like us…..limited. Meditate on the following verses and ask yourself; Does God mean what He says? Better yet, ask Him!

Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. (Mt. 7:7-8)

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Mt. 7:11)

Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. (Mt. 18:19)

And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. (Mt. 21:22)

Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. (Mk. 11:24)

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. (Jn. 14:13)

If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. (Jn. 14:14)

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (Jn. 15:7)

Whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. (Jn. 15:16)

And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. (Jn. 16:23)

Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. (Jn. 16:24)

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (James 1:5)

Yet you do not have because you do not ask. (James 4:2)

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. (1 Jn. 3:22)

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (1 Jn. 5:14-15)

Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)

God really cares for you. Believe Him and receive!

Her children rise up and bless her; Her husband also, and he praises her, saying:

"Many daughters have done nobly, But you excel them all.”

Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.

Give her the product of her hands, And let her works praise her in the gates.
