Prayer Requests!

If you have a prayer request, please add it to the link below. This is for a program that we will be launching soon at St. Ann's. Stay tuned for info on that!

Immediate requests will be prayed over, but this form is designed to collect intentions that can be lifted up throughout the month of July. This form is ANONYMOUS. You may include names if you would like, but it is not required. Feel free to submit more than one request.

Please also feel free to share throughout our community.

My daughter would like to go to the rockhounds game tomorrow evening but we haven't found any updated information about it. Do we know time/place to meet? Cost?

Welcome to the St. Ann's Youth Ministry page! Our mission is to form disciples who are rooted in Christ and community. This is where you can keep up on all the different events and announcements that are going around!

Even if you’ve moved away from Him- God’s not done with you yet.

Why is our logo a tree? What do we mean by rooted?

We want our youth ministry to be a place where you can plant your roots. You can call this place home. This theme of being “rooted” comes from Jeremiah 17:7-8. “They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its ROOTS by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; it’s leaves are always green.”

We want to be a place where you can feel connected to God and to one and other. We are here for each other and more importantly God is here for us.

Easter isn’t over yet! The church will celebrate Easter for the next 50 days! How does the Resurrection of Jesus change your life?

Almost didn’t get a chance to post because I couldn’t find the right words to accurately express how important this day is to me. I am who I am today because of the Resurrection of Jesus. My family and I do what we do because we believe in the Resurrected Christ. He is the true King of our lives and we desperately want to share Him with you.

Without the Resurrection, Jesus would just have been a great teacher or prophet. He would’ve been someone who just taught us to be a good person. His claims to be the Son of God wouldn’t be taken seriously. If the Resurrection had not happened we would have a God who is limited, who isn’t all powerful. We would have a God who came close to saving us but couldn’t beat death.

However - we know that is not true. Jesus did rise from the dead. He was resurrected, just as He told us. His death and resurrection is the final proof of who He really was. He taught us to not just be a good person, but to love God and those around us by dying to ourselves. He revealed Himself to truly be the Son of God. By His resurrection, we have HOPE! WE HAVE NEW LIFE! Jesus overcame sin and death so that NOTHING could separate us from Him. By overcoming death, He has shown His saving power! His resurrection gives us the opportunity to give Him our burdens, worries, anxieties, and just about everything else. He can take and bring us to new life with Him. All of this is because He wants you. He loves you. He wants to be with you forever in eternal life.

Happy Solemnity of the Annunciation! Today we celebrate the day the Archangel Gabriel told Mary she would be the Mother of God. It was totally unexpected. But through her “yes”, Jesus entered he world!

God wants to do big things in your life too! But He needs your “yes”. He wants great and amazing things for you. How can you live like Mary and say yes to God?

In light of Governor Greg Abbott’s executive order on March 2, some have asked if there have been any changes to our church practices. All coronavirus protocols in the Catholic Diocese of San Angelo remain in effect until further notice. These include liturgy, faith formation, religious education, youth ministry, sacraments, gatherings, Catholic schools, etc. The Diocese of San Angelo is currently studying the executive order of the governor, which is set to take effect on March 10. The diocese will be in communication with pastors, school personnel, and employees, as diocesan policies impact parishes, Catholic schools, and all our operations. The diocese will also obtain input from local officials and health authorities.
