Wanting to complete my Bucket list I was lead to this church one more time. As a child we lived @ 102 N Tyler with my Mother and Grandmother. I was baptized in this church in 1953. The last time I was in this church was on Tuesday, December 14, 1976. We came from California to attend by Grandmother's sister funeral (Alzena Reynolds) . I looked up the church on the computer found church information. Was shocked when I seen the name Carolyn Palmer. My Grandmother and her Grandmother were sisters. Oh what a mighty "God We Serve" Will be in Midland during the week of Aug. 20, 2019. Hope to see her while I'm there. If not may God continue "The Blessing" he has be-stored upon her. Last weekend another spiritual warrior was called home to hear the words “Well Done” and to receive his award. Brother Billy Jefferson was a pillar and faithful servant in the Mt Rose FGBC and Midland community. He served faithfully as a deacon for over 62 years. He was also one of the first faces that would greet you at the door with open arms. Anytime the men’s ministry needed to do something, they could always count on Bro Jefferson to be ready and willing to help. And if you ever needed to smile, you could always count on his laugh and smile to light up your day. There are so many more amazing things we can say about Bro Jefferson, but let’s just say he will be extremely missed. May he rest in heaven. And we pray for comfort for his family during this time of bereavement.

Pastor and Lady Palmer have been pillars in the West Texas community for over 34 years! They have been such a blessing to Mt Rose and the community, and we want to honor them in an awesome way. To do this, we are planning a few surprises for Sunday. First, we will be doing a parade past their house around 230pm.
