The New Tag Team 4 Jesus Christ Outreach Ministries

We are a Non-Denominational Ministry. A church without walls, where all are welcome to come and share in the glorious love of Jesus Christ. We are a thriving Ministry planted in the heart of an urban setting, in the Greater Miami Area, striving to be what God has called every believer to be: Workers in the vineyard, a light on a hill that cannot be hid, a safe place or sanctuary for those in search of something more than mere flesh and repetitive jargon can satisfy.

We are a church without walls, where all are welcome. There is no one greater except the Father here, so come as you are,... your clothes nor your financial or social standings matter. .......... Verse Of Today:

1 Corinthians 14:1-5
Let love be your highest goal! But you should also desire the special abilities the Spirit gives—especially the ability to prophesy. For if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God, since people won’t be able to understand you. You will be speaking by the power of the Spirit, but it will all be mysterious. But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them. A person who speaks in tongues is strengthened personally, but one who speaks a word of prophecy strengthens the entire church. I wish you could all speak in tongues, but even more I wish you could all prophesy. For prophecy is greater than speaking in tongues, unless someone interprets what you are saying so that the whole church will be strengthened.

Commentary:

1 Cor. 13:1-3 says, “If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.” Today’s verse tells us to strive for the gifts of the Spirit, though it is also clear that love must serve as the foundation of our experience with those gifts. Love is our highest goal, because it is in love that we are able to edify the church. Seek the gifts and ask God for the wisdom to use them, but a life overtaken by the love of God. Let every thought and action be born from experiencing His love for you.

Verse Of Today:
Acts 17:29-32
And since this is true, we shouldn’t think of God as an idol designed by craftsmen from gold or silver or stone. “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.” When they heard Paul speak about the resurrection of the dead, some laughed in contempt, but others said, “We want to hear more about this later.”

Commentary:
The resurrection of the dead seems to be a touchy subject, yet Paul is able to speak boldly by the power of the Holy Spirit. Paul is speaking to a culture that worships just about anything, including man-made idols that people fashion to gods they do not know. In contrast, Paul introduces the living God as “Father”. This term is incredibly familiar to be used in reference to God and must have come as a new idea to those listening. Everything hinges upon Jesus Christ, who has been given complete authority by God our Father. It is He who was raised from the dead and has risen to be seated at the right hand of God. It is because of Him that the Holy Spirit is able to come make His residence in our lives and partner with us as we transform from death to life; from lost, to found!

Verse Of Today:

Acts 16:13-15
On the Sabbath we went a little way outside the city to a riverbank, where we thought people would be meeting for prayer, and we sat down to speak with some women who had gathered there. One of them was Lydia from Thyatira, a merchant of expensive purple cloth, who worshiped God. As she listened to us, the Lord opened her heart, and she accepted what Paul was saying. She was Verse Of Today:

Acts 16:13-15
On the Sabbath we went a little way outside the city to a riverbank, where we thought people would be meeting for prayer, and we sat down to speak with some women who had gathered there. One of them was Lydia from Thyatira, a merchant of expensive purple cloth, who worshiped God. As she listened to us, the Lord opened her heart, and she accepted what Paul was saying. She was baptized along with other members of her household, and she asked us to be her guests. "If you agree that I am a true believer in the Lord", she said, "come and stay at my home." And she urged us until we agreed.

Commentary:
The early church sought out opportunities to preach the gospel to those around them, and the church today should do likewise. We can only imagine the hearts that the Lord has prepared to hear His gospel; hearts that will respond with repentance and become new creations. In this case, Lydia's entire household is baptized, praise God. Go out with courage, and be bold with the gospel. The Lord has gone before you, He goes with you, and He will come behind you to prepare, to plant, and to water the faith that He authored in the first place. At the same time, He'll strengthen your faith too.

Verse Of Today:

Luke 10:33-37
But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’ “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?” The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

Commentary:

Today we meet "The Good Samaritan", the man who stops to help a stranger (his neighbor). Not only does he help him, but he has compassion for him. The act of helping does not come from a removed sense of obligation, it comes from a shift in the Samaritan's heart. A heart that knows the Lord is moved by injustice and the need of others. Not only does he treat and bandage the man's wounds, but he pays for an innkeeper to look after the man until he is well...not knowing what the ultimate cost of his recovery will be! The Samaritan does not think of being robbed by the innkeeper, or whether or not the innkeeper will use the money for the good of the injured man; yet that doesn't stop him from doing what he can to help. Show others the mercy you were shown by Jesus Christ. Love your neighbor.

Verse Of Today:

John 7:37-39
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this, he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Commentary:

Jesus' invitation is for all. The invitation doesn't say, "Those who feel worthy", or "those who know the most about God". The requirement is thirst or, in other words, "need". The promise is not only for that thirst to be quenched, but it is to be quenched by a living water that flows from within through the seal of the Holy Spirit. Recognize and remember today your need for Jesus. If Jesus is not exactly who He said He was, we are all hopelessly lost. Lord Jesus, help our unbelief! We praise you for the gift of the Holy Spirit!

Verse Of Today:

Ezekiel 2:1-2
He said to me, “Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.” As he spoke, the Spirit came into me and raised me to my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.

Commentary:

When he was called to be a prophet, Ezekiel has a vision of the “likeness of the glory of the Lord”. This completely drains his strength and he falls facedown. Then the Lord speaks to Him this verse, and as it is being spoken, Ezekiel is provided the strength to stand and hear the word of the Lord. In Christ, we are granted the Holy Spirit, and rest assured that there is real power and strength that comes with His residence within us. He is able to strengthen, to counsel, to teach, and to convict us. With the Spirit of God living in us, we are able to be ambassadors for Christ, messengers of the gospel, bearers of the living water that is found only in Jesus.

Verse Of Today:

2 Peter 3:14-16
So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Commentary:

You cannot be at peace with God without receiving His grace. Forgiveness is offered to us, but we can only receive that forgiveness when we realize that we are in desperate need of it. Our “effort”, is to receive the grace of God. It is by grace through faith in Christ Jesus that we are saved, and it is through grace that the Holy Spirit makes His home with us, and that we become obedient to Him in confessing the gospel. You do not need to, and in truth cannot prove yourself worthy of God’s gift of salvation. Jesus atoned for your sins. We have but to receive that gift and surrender to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

Please be reminded that there is Bible Class tonight @ 7:00 at the meeting place. We pray all those who can and will to come on out and join us as we Grow and Reason in the Word together.

If you haven't had an opportunity to come on out to T.N.T Revival this is the last night, come on out where the power of God is moving greatly in this place. You won't regret it and bring a friend with you. Tell your neighbor, tell your co-workers it time to move "From Broken Pieces to Peace. Hope to see you all there!!

Verse Of Today:

John 17:15-19
My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.

Commentary:

Jesus is praying for His disciples, and those who would come to believe in Him. Jesus prays for us to live in this world, but to live remembering that we do not belong to the world. We are set apart as Christ was set apart: set apart in the truth of God's Word. We have been sent by Jesus Christ into the world to live transformed and restored by the love of God. If you have ever felt like you don't belong to this world, please know that you are feeling the truth of God touch your heart. The truth is, we don't belong to the world, we belong with Jesus living eternally in heaven. He has called us to live in this world with courage and compassion, and has appealed to the Father on our behalf! He has blessed us and goes with us as we live for God.

Verse Of Today:

Psalm 139:16-18
Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you.

Commentary:

If you have ever doubted that the Lord delights in you, read these verses carefully and meditate upon the breathtaking love of God. As a loving Father, His thoughts are on us so much more than I think we credit to Him. I am often too quick to speak with God as if I'm taking time away from His already busy schedule. I treat Him as if He was doing something else before I started praying. The truth, as always, shatters the lie into pieces. When we begin to pray, His full attention has already been on us, because God's attention can be fully on everything and everyone at once. The magnitude of who He is and what He is capable of so often escapes us, and we make the mistake of living according to that false view of Him. Infused with the truth of God's love, live free in Christ Jesus!

Verse Of Today:

Romans 6:14-16
For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace. What then? Shall we sin because we are not under the law but under grace? By no means! Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Commentary:

Grace commands obedience to righteousness in Christ. Part of that obedience is realized by our faith in Jesus as our Savior, and part is realized through Jesus' Lordship as rebirth and restoration floods its way through our hearts, minds, and lives. Grace does not command willfully embracing sin or evil because "we are not under the law", and it is not an excuse to live a life continuously overwhelmed by sin. Falling to sin is one thing, but jumping into sin is another. The Holy Spirit, alive, well, and working for our good and His good purpose will lead us safely through the battlegrounds of life. Our dependence upon Jesus must be complete! His grace must be sufficient for us! Through that commitment, that obedience by grace to Christ, His power will be perfected in and through our lives.
