Town East Baptist Church

Good morning this beautiful Easter Sunday,
Thank you much for bringing the message. Just what we needed to hear. Have a good week.
If anyone is interested in sharing a story or memory at my dad's Memorial Service (September 8) please let me know.
does the church have a ladies sewing group or at least know of one I can donate sewing products to?
Longtime Town East member (and Sunday morning greeter extraordinaire) David Miller – my dad – has earned his wings after passing on Tuesday, July 23. We will have a visitation on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Laurel Oaks on Lake June Road just off LBJ Freeway. A memorial service will follow at a later date.
Come join the youth group on October 14 at 1:00 pm. We will be at the Official Paintball Games of Texas in Forney. This location has the largest playing areas and different scenarios which adds to the fun. Join us as we make great memories and strengthen bonds.

Capturing the Culture of Christ.

We desire to reach the lost, hurting, and confused with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to place all Christians into ministry. We are casual in attire and passionate in our worship of Almighty God. TEBC now has a YouTube channel (thanks James Osteen)! What that means is you can now watch videos of our worship services online without Facebook. You cannot watch the service live, but the videos will be be available (barring complications) on YouTube by 4:00 p.m. on the same day. There are two ways to find our channel:

1. Simply go to

2. Go to our website at, and click on the YouTube button on the top right of the screen.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Have a great week and stay healthy,
Bro. Kyle Official website for Town East Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas. Capturing the Culture of Christ!

We now have three new giving options up and running! You may give securely online, via text, or through an app. I have tested all three processes and they are very simple. I will post a video tutorial soon, but until then, here are the directions.

We are accepting Debit Card and ACH (virtual check) transactions; credit cards are not accepted.

ONLINE: Go to (no “h” on church) and follow the directions for setting up an account. A link will also be available soon on our website,

TEXT: text the keyword TEBC to 73256. You will receive a response with a link. Click on the link and complete the form.

APP: In the APP Store search Abundant Giving and download the free APP.

No matter which method you use the church is charged a processing fee. The fee is 2.65% for Debit Cards and 1% for ACH transactions. The form gives you the option of adding the processing fee to your gift. For example, if you give $50.00 with a debit card, you have the option of including $1.33 for processing. With an ACH gift of $50.00 the processing is 50₵.
Including the processing fee in your gift is completely optional.

Of course, you may continue to mail and/or bring your tithe to the church building. I am available to answer any questions you have about any of these giving options.

Stay Healthy,
Bro. Kyle

Greetings TEBC Family,

We want to thank everyone who joined us on our live stream yesterday. Please be sure to join us again this Sunday at 10:05AM and invite your friends and family to join us as well.

This post contains information that we hope will be helpful to you. It is a little long, but the information is important.

1. If you were not able to stream the service live, you may watch the archived recording by liking our page, The video will be easy to find on our page.

2. If you don’t have the capability of watching the video on Facebook, but would like to hear the sermon, we can provide an audio CD. Due to copyright limitations, the CD does not include the music portion of the service. We usually charge a $1.00 fee to help off-set the cost, but this is an unusual circumstance, so we are waiving the fee. To obtain a CD, email ([email protected]) or call the church office (972-279-6191) and be sure to include the date of the sermon you would like. We will mail the CD to you, so please be sure we have your current address.

3. We are working to improve our streaming quality, but it is a slow process. So many churches have been forced to jump into the stream that the Facebook servers have been a bit overwhelmed and the equipment needed to provide a quality stream is in short supply. Please bear with us.

4. It is very important that we not allow our social distancing to prevent us from honoring God with our tithes and offerings. There are several ways you can still give…

a. You may mail a check to Town East Baptist Church, 3117 N. Town East Blvd. Mesquite, TX 75150

b. You may bring your offering to the church when a staff member is present. Someone is generally here on Monday and Tuesday morning, but that is subject to change. Please call before you come.

c. If you do not want to venture out, and mailing your offering is not an option (i.e. you are giving cash), contact Bro. Kyle and he will be happy to schedule a time to come to you.

d. We are currently working on making online giving an option. More information will be shared when an online giving program is ready to go.

This is a very fluid situation and we will try our best to keep everyone informed. If you need anything during this difficult time, Bro. Bobby and Bro. Kyle are here for you. Our email is checked several times throughout the day and the answering machine is checked daily.

Love in Christ,
Bro. Bobby and Bro. Kyle

You should see a notification on Facebook as soon as the streaming begins (around 10 am). The church will remain open and our Sunday morning schedule is still the same: Sunday School starts at 9 am and worship service at 10:07 am.

FELLOWSHIP: Our friendly church family mingling with our guests!

Here's What We Need...

Your Talents: We need volunteers to set up, tear down, cook, serve, monitor play areas, monitor restrooms, keep trash picked up. A volunteer sign-up sheet is located in the church office; shifts will be one hour.

Your Time: During the time you are not serving as a volunteer, we ask you interact with our guests. Letting our guests see friendly smiling faces of people that care is the best outreach.

Thanks to your generous giving we have reached our goal of providing 110 bicycles to the Mesquite Police Department’s Santa Cop program! We were able to purchase 55 girls bikes and 55 boys bikes. Thank you to Academy Sports & Outdoors for giving us a great deal! Any funds received between now and the end of 2016 will go into next year’s bike fund. Thank you for giving to the Lord and showing the love of Christ to 110 children this Christmas.

Thanks to your generous giving and support we collected 55 shoeboxes in 2016! That's an increase over the 44 we donated in 2015. Each shoebox not only provides help to those in need, but it also proclaims the hope of the Gospel throughout the world.
Also, please remember to join Samaritan's Purse in prayer as they deliver these gifts and the message of Jesus Christ.
