Welcome to Kehilat Sar Shalom, a Messianic Jewish congregation. We join together in praise and worship on Shabbat, lifting our voices and prayers to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!
Wishing you a very Happy Hanukkah !
This past Thursday, our congregation and the four other congregations that meet in our building had a prayer service for all affected by the Pittsburgh massacre. It was very powerful for all of us to come together and pray. The unity displayed was absolutely beautiful. We lit eleven candles for those who were murdered and prayed for those injured and all the victims families. We also prayed for their community and for the Jewish people around the world. We, as the body of Messiah, must stand together against hate and not give into fear. Lord, please give us the courage to STAND UP!
Words cannot adequately express the sorrow we feel over the horrific massacre in Pittsburgh over this past weekend. Antisemitism is alive and real, even after the horrors of the Holocaust. We MUST stand up to it every time it surfaces. This is true of all forms of racism, which is condemned in the gospel - everyone is loved fully and equally by God. Please pray for healing for Pittsburgh, for Jews everywhere, for unity in the body of Messiah, and for healing for our nation.

[10/02/16] The High Holy Days begin this evening with Rosh Hashanah. This is a celebration, according the Bible. A feast, in fact!! It also begins a period of introspection, the Days of Awe, that ends on Yom Kippur. I am so grateful for Yeshua, and His cleansing of my soul. I don't know how anyone can stand that kind of introspection, or celebrate in it's midst, without the work of the Messiah Yeshua.
This week is a double portion, Matot-Masei. Swing by the congregation and find out what get down, get real and get up is all about!! Services start at 10:45.
