Psalm 119:1-16
Today was our first day in Psalm 119 and praise God that we'll have a good few days to let all of its words marinate! So as you go through your week, we encourage you to saturate yourself and your kiddos in the richness of God's word. Whether or not our children "look" attentive, they soak up what they hear so let's fill their ears with truth! Here's Patrick and Will Downing sharing Psalm 119:1-16. #mbctogether

Psalm 118
Sunday to Sunday we sing songs of praise to God to remind ourselves of the truth of His word; of His steadfast love, faithfulness, and salvation in Jesus Christ. Even on this Monday we know that, "THIS is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Today's songs of encouragement are led by Andrea Potts. So, whether you're broken and weary or at peace and hopeful, RIGHT NOW is the perfect time to rejoice in our Savior Jesus. Begin your week by letting these words of truth inspired by Psalm 118 wash over you. Goodness of God
Verse 1 I love You Lord Oh Your mercy never fails me All my days I’ve been held in Your hands From the moment that I wake up Until I lay my head I will sing of the goodness of God Chorus All my life You have been faithful All my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able I will sing of the goodness of God Verse 2 I love Your voice You have led me through the fire In darkest nights You are close like no other I’ve known You as a father I’ve known You as a friend I have lived in the goodness of God Bridge Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me With my life laid down, I’m surrendered now, I give You everything Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me Written by Jenn Johnson, Jason Ingram, Ben Fielding, Ed Cash, Brian Johnson

Psalm 108
From the sunrise to sunset, we are given the privilege to sing the Lord's praises among the nations. Today, we camped in Psalm 108. So while the clouds reflect the sun's final rays, let's listen closely as Janna McShaffrey reads about God's steadfast love. "For your steadfast love is great above the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the clouds." #mbctogether

Community Outreach / 300 boxes delivered, still have many needs to be met
Church Family, we want to give you an update on how we have been caring for our community. We are so thankful to work in collaboration with our other campus's and our church plant, Campo Blanco. Through them and others in our church family we were able to deliver 300 boxes to the community yesterday. We noticed, however, there are still many needs to be met!! There are many urgent physical and spiritual needs in our community and we invite you to be a part of some of the ways we clearly see that God is meeting them! There are SO many moving pieces to make this care happen. Some people help by donating food to the Tysons campus. Some people are spending hours putting together boxes, then organizing and packing them. Some are giving financially. Some are praying and fasting. Some are delivering boxes to communities. Some are sharing the gospel. Today let's each ask God what ways He wants us to serve. Then go to Mcleanbible.org and look at our Coronavirus response page and get started!

Psalm 107
"Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!" Listen as Elijah Gibson encourages us with the words of Psalm 107. As we hear these words, let's remember how He continues to show His great love to us and let's respond with thanksgiving. "Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!"

Psalm 106
Psalm 106 is a great reminder of how God's people sometimes go their own way, even when He displays great faithfulness to them. Still, "His faithful love endures forever." Our Kid's Quest team is equipping our families to train up our children to walk in God's way. Anthony Gyapong, one of our faithful KQ volunteers, is here to do just that; to equip you and your family with a word for you to believe His promises. Let's respond by giving thanks! #mbctogether

Psalm 105
Psalm 105 is filled with historical evidences of God's great faithfulness to Israel THEN and is rich with the hope of His great faithfulness to you NOW. We're blessed to have Tim Fackler encouraging us with prayer and the reading of today's psalm; reminding us of this powerful truth.

Psalm 104
Yesterday, we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! As we begin this week, let's bless the Lord together with His word from Psalm 104, shared by Pastor Donnie Cohn. "Bless the LORD, oh my soul!"

"I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will make music..." Psalm 100
"Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!" We are so grateful for our brother Jefferson, pastor of the Spanish-speaking church plant Campo Blanco! Listen as he and his wife Carol serve the LORD with gladness by joyfully declaring His goodness in both English and Spanish.

Sovereign Over Us - Aaron Keyes
#mbctogether There is strength within the sorrow There is beauty in our tears And You meet us in our mourning With a love that casts out fear You are working in our waiting You're sanctifying us When beyond our understanding You're teaching us to trust Your plans are still to prosper You have not forgotten us You're with us in the fire and the flood You're faithful forever Perfect in love You are sovereign over us You are wisdom unimagined Who could understand Your ways Reigning high above the Heavens Reaching down in endless grace You're the lifter of the lowly Compassionate and kind You surround and You uphold me And Your promises are my delight Even what the enemy means for evil You turn it for our good You turn it for our good and for Your glory Even in the valley, You are faithful You're working for our good You're working for our good and for Your glory Songwriters: Aaron Keyes / Bryan Brown / Jack Mooring Sovereign Over Us lyrics © Capitol Christian Music Group
